  3. For me the only spell or item that can be overpowerd is the spell/item NPCs will not or cannot use. If you give them to NPCs, you play fair. Sometimes its difficult though. Example: dwemer automatic projectile launcher - with clip size of 24 ammo launching approximately 3-4 bullets per second. You are fully in control of the item and can spent entire clip or just some of it and reload it any time. Overpowered? In most circumstances you feel like a god! Then you meet heavily armored dwemer terminator equipped with such rifle and explosive bullets. Suddenly your rifle is not so overpowered, especially if you have the wrong ammo. :) Another example: smell. As a beast you can smell others from afar. Which gives you an enormous advantage over NPCs who cant. Overpowered? Not so. Imagine animals/beasts can smell you as well. You enter a cave and all its beast inhabitants gradually become aware of your presence (like over 10 falmers, trolls or chauruses). You try to hide - without success and you die. You cast a super-duper invisibility spell that costs you nothing - and the same result .... since you can still be smelled! Now imagine you do not play as a beast and have no smell. But the beast still have it - you will not even be aware of the problem .... until its too late. :)
  4. These are mines not arrows. However each mine (an activator placed when you drop appropriate misc item) is connected with projectile and explosion. I instst you take a look at it in the CK. Its difficult to explain it here. Should you have any question PM me.

  6. @Matth85 Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it. In normal circumstances you would propably be right. The problem is I dont really have any specific appearance in mind. I will be glad as long as they are generally dwemer-like looking. I need those resources for my mod but I need them to implement new mechanics and its the mechanics I care the most. The appearance is not that important for me. In other words I leave it to the artist. I think its a fair approach.

Well, nice to hear it :) I have several requests: 1) a dwemer knife as a weapon using resources from vanila dwemer knife (misc item) - I know the nif file has to be tweaked somehow to be visible in hand both in 3rd and 1st person. I will use it as a repair tool 2) dwemer granades (4 types: shock, fire, frost and warp) - both visible in hand as a weapons and projectiles, 3) dwemer cloaking device - some kind of dwemer-like armor that can be weared with other armor, just like a bandolier 4) dwemer generator - some kind of dwemer-like armor that can be weared with other armor, just like a pouch on left and right near belt, 5) dwemer throable disc - both visible in hand as a weapon and projectile. What say you?

  9. I had the same problem. Take a look at the projectiles attached to the rune magic effect. This should solve your problem.
  10. I have introduced wind to my mod but not for animations (I cant make them) but for smell mechanic. You can be smelled by beasts depending on strength and direction of wind (which makes hunting more exciting because your prey can sense you from afar and yo can become prey yourself) and if you are a beast you can sense everyone and everything reasonably suitable for this.
  11. Check out minion system from my mod Nature of the beast 2. It allows you to command different types of actors: followers, follower pets, summoned creatures etc. Depending whether the actors are NPCs or other kind of actors they can do different array of things. The more advanced minions can do almost everything at your command, while the simple ones can follow only basic commands. In short: for regular army - Notb2 + follower mods that give you additional followers, for undead army - Notb2 (it has decaying zombies) for construct army - Notb2 + dwemer artificer (wait for my dwemer pack to command dwemer terminators with automatic weapons)

  13. I believe such gameplay can already be achieved to a considerable degree with a combination of several mods. There are many follower mods otther that allow you to hire NPCs. There are many mods that allow you to aquire a fort, dungeon or cave and you can use my minion system from my mod Nature of the beast 2 to command the followers, they can now do almost everything. With AFT you gain even wider array of choices. Hell, you can even command mounted NPCs with this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24286/? , AFT and my mod and exercise quick hit and run tactic. As for killing travellers or riding towns, you dont need quests for this, right?
  14. @ DrNewcenstein Check ot this mod: Immersive NPC in the dark and my mod: Nature of the beast 2 if you want immersion for both player and NPCs in terms of senses. Just dont get discouraged by my green bane if it can see you in the dark or even if you are invisible. It has more senses than a mere human and it is difficult to deceive them all (but its possible I assure you) As for the WIPs I think chanchan05 is right. There are many WIP mods that are playable. My mod is a WIP for almost 2 years and its because I constanctly add something. I think this way is better since otherwise I would have never released it. To be frank I dont think I will ever finish it though Im trying hard :)
  15. AFT is the best follower mod in my opinion. If you want however to command them download also my mod - Nature of the beast 2. Both can be used with Convinient Horses. Be advised: if you want to command mounted followers via my mod you should use Horsemen - Mounted Combat Enhancement instead of Convinient Horses. This is EPIC feeling! With Convinient Horses you can command via my mod only dismounted followers. There are no other conflicts though between the mods as far as Im aware. Its just that mounted followers will not obey my commands.

  17. There are no NPCs in vanilla Skyrim with a spell transforming them into werewolves and back and there is no such vanilla spell. There is only one scene when Farkas transforms. There is however 1 mod that transforms NPCs both friendly and hostile - Moonlight Tales. Its source files have been recently released so you are lucky. There is also Amazing Follower Tweaks that can transform your followers. In essence to transform NPC you trigger a transforming animation (SendAnimationEvent) on the NPC and then you change its race (SetRace if I recall). It all can be made via script.

  19. My mod Nature of the beast 2 allows you to permanenty raise a slowly decaying over time zombies that you can equip with what you want and give them order to do many many things. Essentially they can be extension of your will.
  20. Nature of the beast 2. However it allows you much more and is rather hardcore. Check if you like it.
  21. Great! Cant wait. I Wonder how will you do it. You know you could make the player invisible without any visual effect and make all actors around you visually invisible (setalpha). There is however the problem of sound. You would have to mute everything around you.
  22. Hello! As ussually I have a problem. Im making a script for automatic rifles. I use the fire command. The script works well in case of player. However when used on friendly NPC sometimes it fires towards me instead of hostile NPC. This is strange because the NPC is aiming at hostile NPC yet sometimes bullets fly towards me. This is more than annoying since 5+ bullets is always a fatal experience. Someone could give me a hint why this is happening and how to prevent it?
