  1. I run my mod with all functions turned on along with Frostfall and Footprints and many other mods without any problem. If you experience script lag try this: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/963218-how-would-one-go-about-reducing-papyrus-based-lag/. Yes, you can turn off any feature of my mod you dont need or like via the ring menu. If you dont play as a khajiit, argonian, werewolf or vampire there isnt much to turn off though. And the minion system isnt that very heavy since you dont use the commands all the time. If you have any other problems/questions regarding my mod please post them on my page.
  2. I dont know. I dont use it myself but its in general very compatible since it changes almost no vanilla content. I only have heard that it will not work with SkyRe skeletons unless you kil them and resurect them with my spell.
  3. You are lucky. Try my mod Nature of the beast 2. Check out beta for ver. 3.0 released sevral days ago and command raised dead slaves (that slowly decay) or raised skeleton slaves. Command them (wait, follow, wait there, forward, attack, make/tear camp, get my horse), equip them. Up to 25 actors supported plus 100 in reserve you can put in your dungeon. You can even divide them into squads and command them separately.

  5. I dont know abot war-lock mods but I have a very specific necromancer gameplay in my mind that I would like to suggest. For me being a necromancer is not fighting in armor and with stave in your hand. True, powerfull necromancers dont fight because they have their minions that fight for them. THEY COMMAND. They roll over everything that opposes them without rising a finger. Its not just about fighting though but also about looting, making camp for you, giving you food to sustain you if you are still mortal etc. If you are not interesting then skip the reading here. So you are still with me. OK. To my knowledge there is no such mod yet that allows you to do the above things. But Im working on it. For know there are several mods that you can try: 1) My mod: Nature of the beast 2 - ver. 3.0 BETA - now this is fresh beta released today. It contains experimental spells like raise dead slave, raise skeleton or spells that summon armored skeletons (they require additional mod that gives you the armored skeletons - see below). The most important feature is the minion system though that allows you to at least command your minions into battle. There are some out-of-combat commands as well, but for now very limited. The point is that the system is very flexible and allows you to command everything you summon, even creatures/actors from other mods if you dont like my necromantic spells. 2) PsiKotics Necromancy Mod by PsiSoldier - old mod but very hardcore since it gives you many spells and perks and allows to amass huge army that you can command with Nature of the beast 2 mod. It has also other spells from destruction school, its own necromancer lair etc 3) Necromancer Spell Set - a much lighter mod - that gives you simple raised from corpses skeletons - also fully compatible with Nature of the beast 2 mod and few other mods 4) Skyrim Immersive Creatures or Armored Skeletons and The Walking Dead by lifestorock that are required for my summon armored skeleton spells to work There is also a mod Undeath by Antioch08 that lets you become a lich but I havent tested it myself. Worth a try I think since it has many endorsments and a lovely deep quest for your personal immortality. There are other mods I think that give you a lair/tower. There are also mods that allow you to construct minions out of body parts but I dont remember which ones. I hope I have helped.
  6. @pheo3309 I dont do such things. I do something more interesting I think what MasterVin had in mind. I hijack the actors the player has met and make them player's minions. Think of them as quasi followers that can be commanded. I intend to expand my minio system in the future and let the player have some kind of illusion spell to mesmerise the actors.
  7. Download my mod Nature of the beast 2 and use raise dead slave spell on the corpse and command the creatures (wait, wait there, follow, forward, attack). Up to 25 actors supported. You can divide them into squads and command them separately. In the future I will add alternative ways to make them your minions. Its a big problem. There are many mods that add cool looking monsters/creatures but virtualy none of them allows you to recruit them! It would be great for someone to make some mod that would for example allow you to forge an aliance with a tribe of rieklings/goblins/falmers. This way I could command them via my mod. Anyone knows something like that?
  8. Changing the race of the actor to something else and changing it back to werewolfrace seems to fix the problem. However this is a noisy solution because of the roar animation. If anyone knows a better solution please be so kind and post it.
  9. @Glanzer Right, but the mod you are referring to affects player only when he she is sneaking.
  10. I have made something like this albeit in compeletely different way. I wanted to create a stealthy reptilian were creature. The creature uses werewolf animations but as you propably know werewoves cant sneak. So I have made a camouflage ability (afterall a big reptile can have skin ability similar to chameleon). It works like this: an ability is given to the player with invisibility effect. Every second a cloak spell is fired that checks nearby hostile actors, their distance and line of sight. Once hostile actor has line of sight and is close enough the invisibility ability with its effect is dropped. The range of dropping vary depending on amount of light on the player, rain, snow and sneak skill. The Magic effect has no visual effect so the only way to tell whether you are spotted or not is the reaction of NPCs.
  11. Pick up AFT - the best follower mod in my opinion. If you want to command them in real time - pick up my mod Nature of the beast 2 (check out the minion system).
  12. And what kind of character you would like to play? This should help other give you some sefull hints. BTW choose AFT. Its much better than UFO.
  13. A breakthrough. It seems that if I spawn a werewolf via console it will attack me as it should. Now, when I kill it and resurrect it via console the werewolf will not attack me anymore. It will only follow me. However if I do as above with a wolf it will continue to attack me after the ressurection. Why this is so? How can I solve it?
  14. Hello, I have a big problem. I have created a green bane encounter. Basically I spawn a reptilian werebeast. It has several AI packages that compell it to find the player and attack it from behind. If the player looks in its direction the monster tries to circle around the player. If the beast is wounded it retreats to safety. It has camoufage that is triggered by a script and sophisticated venomous claws. All works well (at least mostly). There is however 1 problem. Sometimes the beast will not attack the player or any other actor even if hammered without mercy by its adversary. I have written sometimes but this happens always when I apply the retreat AI package or when I ressurect the beast. I tried everything: EvalatePackage, tweaking aggression and confidence values, casting 0-damage spells that normally initiate combat, StartCombat. No matter what I do it wont attack. Im sure the packages have changed though from retreat to attack since the creature approaches me and even follows me as if it wanted to get me. Any help, hint will be very appreciated.
  15. I would like something like this as well. Some kind of humanoid creature with wings (reptilian, avian or bat-like). The best would be one that has werewolf animations (like feeding, power attacks etc), wings and custom flying/gliding animations. If someone gives me such a beast I will script the rest (give it cool biological abilities flying including). This creature is a big humanoid lizard with wings that can fly (and grab victims to drop them to their death), glide and has many interesting biological abilities, like poisoned claws, camoflage, night vision and smell or adrenaline surge. Be advised, its not a dragon. There is absolutely nothing magical about it. Its "just" a flying beast.

  17. Remember that TOL is an old mod and it wasnt well written. Moonlight Tales made by the same author is much better written and has more options. For me Nature of the beast 2 + Moonlight Tales + Heart of the beast are the core of the werewolf experience. With the mods you can form a pack of werewolves that transform with you back and forth, command them via howling (and in human form too), even access their inventory and much much more. Everything you see there climbing including can be done by you as well.
  18. @ArtMurder Thanks for the feedback. I will remove the feature of automatically adding werebear transformation. Good point! I dont expect anyone to like every part of my mod (so you can add/remove almost everything you like/hate) but if I were you I would try to customise 6th sense and adrenaline surge. I have made the abilities to counter an obvious weekness of werewolves - lack of any armour. The only way to counter this for me in realistic way is speed. The adrenaline surge has 2 mutually excluding options: slow-motion and turbo and 6th sense can be customizable as well In the current version you dont have to use survival menu while playing in the beast form. You can use combination of vanilla buttons instead for better immersion And now you dont have to keep the ring. You can access the menu by holding adrenaline surge button ("-" by default) PS One more thing - replace TOL with Moonlight Tales and get the compatibility patch (just read ots description to get the idea why). For me its the ultimate werewolf experience. And get Heart of the beast mod too for better sounds

  20. If you want to play as a commander consider checking the minion system from my mod Nature of the beast 2. It wont make your followers smarter but it will make them more obidient. And yes, I too recommend AFT although both AFT and UFO are compatiblre with the above mentioned minion system. AFT is the best follower mod for me. If however you want to play with mounted followers consider trying this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24286. Its not compatible with AFT though. Only with UFO. That being said the ability to command mounted followers is very rewarding.

  22. Forgive my shameless self advertising but I simply dont want you to miss some serious fun! Try my mod: Nature of the beast 2. It will give you: 1) dynamic (automatic) highly customizable nigh eye; 2) adrenaline surge - makes you faster, jump higher at the expense of stamina; 3) 6th sense - basically warns you about danger and triggers above adrenaline surge (slow-motion) just before you get hit with melee weapon/spell or arrow/bolt - greatly increases your chance of survival; 4) smell (not a life detect spell but something far more realistic/sophisticated - takes into account direction and strength of wind, it wont show you the target but only its direction) - allows you to smell everything organic, including actors, plants, food and also fire and water (good for survival mods). Provides you with information about race, sex, life or death and distance. You can even learn scents of individual actors. Beware! Smell is a double edged sword. You can be smelled as well by other beasts unless you use a special potion .................. or turn off the feature.

  24. If I were you I would check out the Minion system in my mod Nature of the beast 2. It allows you to command (give commands in real time) almost everything: followers/summoned creatures etc or even gather a werewolf/wolf pack.
  25. @NsJones Thats true but the skin system from MT will not work on my apha werewolf since its a separate race. Hence I recommend your fine mod.
