  1. In response to post #21508324. Files are not really there, Windows and games are just "tricked" into thinking they are there.
  2. This is more an issue with properly setting up your New Vegas.
  3. You need to ask for help in the Skyrim's section, this forum is for NMM feedback only.
  4. In response to post #16510409. You shouldn't reupload the files, you'll lose your spot in the queue.
  5. I think you installed incompatible mods or you need to fix your load order. Moving this to the proper section.
  6. This got nothing to do with NMM, moving it to fallout section.
  7. And what could NMM possibly have to do with this!? I'm moving the topic to somewhere appropriate.
  8. This happens when you select the correct "Install Info" folder (where the mod install registry is stored) but not the correct "Mods" folder (where the mod archives are), so NMM finds install info about mod but can't find the mod itself, to avoid causing all sorts of internal issues NMM just poceeds in remove the mod install info from the install registry (no actual file is removed). If you are experiencing crashes you are very welcome to submit a bug report in the proper section: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/project-3-mod-manager-open-beta/
  9. In response to post #15507905. #15510900 is also a reply to the same post. Nothing, NMM won't run .exe files.
  10. Thanks, that helped, it should be fixed now!
  11. In response to post #15450665. #15451400, #15472820, #15488980, #15499685, #15502560 are all replies on the same post. Nope, sorry, the NMM uninstaller can't interact with the "Mods" and "Install Info" folders, simply cause you set them at a later time while launching NMM for the first time for a game. Problem is you were careless enough to accept the wrong paths for those folders or the game folder) while NMM prompted you if they were correct.
  12. In response to post #15467665. You should open a bug report in the bug tracker forum.
  13. In response to post #15450665. NMM is just cleaning its install registry, it's not phisically uninstalling anything. You should pay more attention to the Mods and Install Info folders you confirm before clicking OK. You can set the folders to the proper ones and try to restore one of the backup InstallLog.xml files to restore the mod install registry.
  14. In response to post #15442880. Thanks for the feedback :)
  15. In response to post #15435220. #15435455, #15435685, #15440880 are all replies on the same post. Omega this means you didn't set the same Install Info folder you were using before.
  16. In response to post #15410995. It means you set the previous Mods folder but not the previous Install Info folder, that folder is where the mod install registry is stored.
  17. In response to post #15407075. #15409185 is also a reply to the same post. Also if you can't locate the folders you were using before, you could search your HDs for the installLog.xml file (it's in the Install Info folder, and the Mods folder should be right beside that).
  18. In response to post #15394125. #15395040, #15400615, #15400745, #15401910, #15404235, #15405440, #15405790, #15409515 are all replies on the same post. This could happen when your previous NMM was manually moved somewhere else from the starting install folder: since NMM supports multiple "installations", each config file is saved in a different subfolder based on the NMM runtime location. It could be that when you installed this new version, you put it somewhere different from the old version you were using, thus since NMM didn't find a config file relative to that position (or maybe a very old config file), it either used the old values stored in that file or when it asked you to point it to the Mods and Install Info folders you accepted the defaults instead of selecting the ones you were using before. I hope I was clear enough..
  19. In response to post #15406480. Go in the settings menu (gears icon) -> {Game} options Check if the selected Mods and Install Info folders are the ones you were using before.
  20. In response to post #15389100. #15390420 is also a reply to the same post. The 0.49.8 update is only available through the program updater, it just helps you updating to the correct version. You can just go to the program download page and select the correct version for your OS.
  21. In response to post #15393605. The version with profiles is now 0.60, you won't have to wait long anyway.
  22. In response to post #15379515. Did you remove config files during the install process? This looks like you selected the wrong Skyrim folder.
  23. In response to post #15374945. Thanks for the feedback :)
  24. In response to post #15378525. Thanks for the feedback, when you must rely on third party software stuff like that happens. We'll address this issue soon.
  25. In response to post #15378385. Redownload version 0.50.2 from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/
