  1. Dualies and Noob Sticks are great fun in their respective games. Always fun to whip out the dualies in CS, kill a few people, and then laugh at their misfortune for being killed by someone using dualies. :D In Fallout 3.. meh. Wouldn't work anyway.
  2. If you mean with the same look, sure... just keep tweaking til you like it. :P Idea: screenshot the sliders in the various categories on the showracemenu dialog and refer back to them as you make your new one. Only works if you can find a way to see them that doesn't cause problems for your game. (For me, I'd have the shots pulled up on my laptop next to me) ....or memorize the slider positions. ;)
  3. First off - remove Unofficial Patch and FakePatch, and install the official patch 1.6. Next, make sure you have the latest FOSE (that supports 1.6).
  4. I vastly prefer Fallout 3's keyring to Oblivion's exhaustive list of every key you've ever picked up. It really isn't that important. Quests generally track your progress anyway.
  5. JPG, GIF, or PNG. JPG's probably the ideal one for the game screenshots. If you need something to convert with, grab IrfanView. It's a free, small and fast image viewer with editing (cropping, resizing, etc) and conversion capabilities.
  6. Hmm lemme guess - an army of lolis and Char, Mineva, Haman Karn, and Aina Sahalin look-alikes. Maybe even a Scirocco or a Bask if you wanted to throw in an evil one. ...though, if you did make a Haman Karn look-alike, I'd want to know which hair mod you used. :P
  7. What with all these glowing reviews, maybe I'll have to try this.. Point Lookout thing. Hmm, now what would a swamp loli wear...
  8. I haven't even done any of the Broken Steel quests yet and I can tell you it's better than Anchorage. -Continue playing after Main Quest rather than having your game abruptly ended. -Actually adds something to the overall game outside of the main DLC content and a few items.
  9. Speaking of pictures, I don't believe we've seen your character. ;)
  10. It's not under your actual fallout 3 program folder, IIRC it's under \My Documents\My Games\Fallout 3\ If there is not a Saves folder, make one and stick your save(s) in it.
  11. Invisible enemies, in my experience, can be caused by any mod that modifies weapons, thus for that, I suggest disabling such mods. Also, when you disable MMM, be sure to WAIT or REST for 4 in-game days after disabling it to make sure all MMM-ified spawns get reset to vanilla. Also, I see you are using the FakePatch + UFO3P combo I used to use. I suggest updating to 1.6 and disabling these. They are no longer needed.
  12. Aww, now you've hurt poor Me-tan's feelings. http://webbstuff.net/me-tan_sad.jpg Though maybe she's just sad because her ahoge has gotten so long..
  13. But wait -- they didn't have a GECK, so it wouldn't have worked anyway, right?
  14. Sorry to make you unhappy fellow feline, but I slaughter brahmin for their meat. I then recycle said meat--and their corpses--back to my RTS village! Them two-headed cows is good eatin.
  15. I plan to try the Win7 RC fairly soon (probably end of the month, after the summer mini-mester is done) and am wondering about how Fallout 3 performs. I googled the forums a bit, and it seems that a clean reinstall of Fallout 3 is usually required. Is this the general consensus? Anyone had any trouble with FO3 after a clean reinstall? I'm fine with a reinstall -- I'd probably end up doing that anyway as if I don't go to Win7, I'll probably go to XP64 so as to quit gimping my Phenom. ;)
  16. If you found Fawkes you were in vault 87, and you were pretty close to the end!
  17. It'd be really annoying if the slave outfits were quest items. Maybe just the one you can get from that dead slave at the train tunnel. Would Fallout crash if you loaded your current save without The Pitt loaded? If not, you could probably just play with it unloaded for a bit, save with it unloaded, then go back and re-enable it in fomm and load your latest save. That should reset all of the Pitt-related stuff.
  18. What browser are you using? There should be a setting for what to do with downloaded files.
  19. Or you could use the Armored Vests mod. :) You still have to give up the stats, but that's not really that big a deal, to be honest. (and especially not for my character!)
  20. Careful, you'll make Char--er I mean Zeonic Glory--have to wash his pants... ;D
  21. Well, the problem that I had with Broken Steel was slightly different. I got the movie but no credits, no two weeks later, just returned me to the purifier, unable to do anything. The root of the problem was I was using a child race. I went back to a normal, vanilla adult and it worked fine. I don't see any mods in your list that would indicate you're using something other than a vanilla race. Are there 35 videos in your Fallout 3\Data\video folder?
  22. One thing immediately jumps out at me...Disable FakePatch. Not needed with 1.6.
