So All you see is SkyrimVR, and Skyrim Special Edition, but not Skyrim Legendary Edition?

If so, then click on the EXTENSION tab, and make sure the Skyrim LE extension is ENABLED and Green
  2. HadToRegister's post in Loot announced a cyclical interaction between the rules was marked as the answer
Two of the mods are in the group "Light Enhancers" and two are in the group DEFAULT

Causing your groups to try and be out of the order they load in

    Lighting Enhancers---->Default----->Lighting Enhancers---->Default----->Lighting Enhancers

When the groups actually load like this: DEFAULT------------>LIGHTING ENHANCERS

Stop assigning your Plugins to groups.

The way you have you load order set up, you're trying to make stuff in the Lighting ENhancer Group LOAD BEFORE the DEFAULT GROUP

If you can, Remove ELE_SSE and ELFX Hardcore from the Lighting Enhancers group so they can properly sort.

You should only use groups as a last resort sorting method

  3. HadToRegister's post in New mod folder of Galactic Civilization 3 vs Vortex was marked as the answer
OK, it looks like the Gal Civ 3 extension needs to be updated to use the GC3Crusade folder.
Use the 3 vertical buttons in the top right of Vortex, and select SEND FEEDBACK and select BUG
  4. HadToRegister's post in Vortex profiles... was marked as the answer
Game Settings = INI files, where you make changes for the grass density, shadow resolution etc through the SKyrim.INI file

Save Games = What I explained to you in your other thread.

Each Profile will generate a FOlder in the My Games\Skyrim SE folder with random letters and numbers

Profile #1 profile folder would be called something like "EhuIOp65" and have Profile #1 save games in it.
If you start a new Profile, than Profile #2 will have a folder called something random like "thUbd57f" and only have the savegames for Profile #2 in it, etc etc

    See if that works
  7. HadToRegister's post in Do Skyrim MCM settings copy to cloned Vortex profiles? was marked as the answer
    Nope.
I have the same thing, and I have to set them every single time I start a new game

Except for the mods that let you save presets
  8. HadToRegister's post in Downloads still capped was marked as the answer
Did you try changing your download server in your account settings?
  9. HadToRegister's post in Vortex Error - Can't Install Any Mods (V 1.3.22) was marked as the answer
Before Installing Vortex Again, turn OFF any Antivirus you have installed.

If you have windows defender, make sure "Controlled Folder Access" is turned off.

Try reinstalling Vortex with your AntiVirus turned OFF.
  10. HadToRegister's post in FNIS in Vortex was marked as the answer
Did you try the solution mentioned in the comment section?
Apparently the path in the Registry is Skyrim VR, but FNIS is expecting SKyrimVR or vice-versa

This involves a registry edit, so I suggest you make a backup of your registry if anything goes wrong.
If you don't know how to do this, then just live with the Warning, it doesn't affect the function of FNIS as mentioned on the Description page.
  11. HadToRegister's post in Vortex corrupted reinstall was marked as the answer
Try shutting off your Antivirus, and redownload and Install Vortex again.
  12. HadToRegister's post in Skyrim Screen Tearing Issue, any ideas? was marked as the answer
He found out, (in the proper forum thread that he started) that it's some kind of Monitor Setting on his monitor that adjusts things on the fly, that was causing the issue.
  13. HadToRegister's post in Sections like downloads and etc won't show the names was marked as the answer
scroll down to the bottom of vortex, and on the left hand column....do you see that ARROW pointing to the RIGHT, click on it and it will expand the Left hand Column again.

Now see how it points LEFT?

if you click on it again, it will COLLAPSE the Left hand column again..

Man this basic interface stuff needs to be stickied.
  14. HadToRegister's post in Game crashes after a second loading in, but only at that specific time. I can load into a new game fine, and into other saves on that character. Help? was marked as the answer
You need to post this in the Skyrim support forums, this is the Vortex support forum
  15. HadToRegister's post in Double dipping in Drives was marked as the answer
Vortex MOD STAGING Folder, MUST be on the same drive as the game

The DOWNLOAD folder can be anyhwere.

However, you can put a game's Mod Staging folder on a PER-GAME-BASIS.
In other words, there doesn't need to be ONE Mod STaging Folder.

    For instance

Fallout 4 is installed on Drive F:\
Skyrim SE is installed on drive C:\

    In settings------->mods----->you make the path to the Fallout 4 mod staging folder F:\Vortex Mods\{game}

    In settings------>mods-----> you make the path to the skyrim se mod staging folder C:\Vortex MOds\{game}
  16. HadToRegister's post in SKSE has made game so slow it's unplayable was marked as the answer
I don't know who told you that installing SKSE mods BEFORE you install SKSE screws anything up, because it's completely wrong.

SKSE Dependent mods go in SKSE\plugins a folder that SKSE doesn't even MAKE

SKSE installs to the Game's ROOT directory.

Just read the installation instructions in the zip file, it's easy.
Plus Picky wrote an extension that will properly install SKSE using Vortex.

  17. HadToRegister's post in unable to add a game to vortex mod manager was marked as the answer
    So add it manually

YOu go to the Unmanaged section, find the game, click MANAGE when the dialog pops up saying you have to Add it manually, you navigate to the KCD folder and select THE FOLDER, and click SELECT FOLDER
  18. HadToRegister's post in Is it safe move Vortex application to a different drive letter? was marked as the answer
The first thing you should've done is PURGE all of your mods, that would've severed the hardlinks, Which would've let you install Vortex to the new Drive
Then once Vortex was moved, you could've used Vortex to move the MOd Staging, and Download Folder, then manually pointed Vortex at the New Game folder, and you could've re-deployed the mods, instead of having to install all of them again

THere are a bunch of threads on how to do this
  19. HadToRegister's post in Can't load plugins last was marked as the answer
Don't set up a RULE to load a plugin last, because you'll end up having to make HUNDREDS of them, because that's the extremely wrong way to do it.

Instead, DELETE ALL of those rules, then DOUBLE-CLICK the Esp you're trying to load last, then a panel opens up on the right...scroll to GROUPS, click on the GROUPS drop down menu and select DYNAMIC PATCHES, APPLY, then click SORT, and watch the ESP go to the bottom of the load order.
  20. HadToRegister's post in Problem: Vortex wants to finalize download folder in non-existent directory was marked as the answer
Well, you're not going to like this, but you need to wipe out the C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\Vortex folder in order to reset vortex.

Then reinstall vrotex right over the top of your current installation.
That way you can start fresh
  21. HadToRegister's post in Mods Deploying in Wrong Folder was marked as the answer
Mods are supposed to go to the "I:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data" Directory as you said.

Why do you believe they should be going to the WRONG Directory, the game ROOT Directory? AKA "I:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4" ?
  22. HadToRegister's post in New User Struggling to set up Vortex was marked as the answer
What folder are you selecting exactly?

You should create a download folder like

    D:\Vortex Downloads\

Same with the Mod Staging Folder

    D:\Vortex Mods\

  23. HadToRegister's post in accidentally hit "dont show this again" for loose files may not get loaded was marked as the answer

    SETTINGS------>INTERFACE--------->Click "RESET SUPPRESSED NOTIFICATIONS"
  24. HadToRegister's post in Skyrim SE, where should i put mod folder/ mod staging folder was marked as the answer
The Mod Staging folder needs to be on the same drive as the game is installed on.

Put it in a directory with a short path, such as D:\Mods (Whatever drive letter your Skyrim game is on) or something like that, Do NOT put it inside the Steam Directory
  25. HadToRegister's post in Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, and Dragonborn.esm are all broken was marked as the answer
Try right clicking on the skse_loader.exe and set it to "run as admin"

What causes ‘SKYUI Error Code 1’ when launching Skyrim through SKSE?
This error message is very generic and can occur to a number of different users for simplest of reasons. Some of the reasons why this error message occurs are but not limited to:
Administrator privileges: SKSE requires that you run it using administrator privileges. This is because the program mods the existing Skyrim game some of the actions it performs requires elevation. Incorrect installation: The SKSE installation you performed might not be done correctly. Installing SKSE is a very specific task which requires that you follow each and every step. Any skipping might cause the error message.
