  1. In response to post #28810964. #28812259 is also a reply to the same post. Let me correct my word: I've given MO a try, so I HAVE USED it before.
  2. Profiling ist the reason why I EVER WILL AVOID Mod Organizer. I am sure many pepole think like me and. So I think to make our beloved NMM handling mod files the way MO does is the wrong way. So the only hope is to await a mod manager for Fallout 4 that isn't using profiling. Sorry, but I am very disappointed.
  3. All my New Vegas tracked files entries are gone, Skyrim is okay. So sad... EDIT: Is fixed now, thanks
  4. Any news about the developement process? Or is it a dead project?
  5. A little bit Off-Topic, but steals me a smile: From http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/896029-nexus-mod-manager-release-notes/ Next Build - 0.45.0 Due: February , 2013 [...]
  6. In response to post #7531145. #7531672, #7533114 are all replies on the same post. Forum: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/896029-nexus-mod-manager-release-notes/ Press button "Previous Builds" at the end of the page.
  7. In response to post #7531145. As i mentioned before: Use NMM 0.34.0 :-) Honestly, it works fine, it does anything a Mod Manager should do, it has only a few bugs but you can easily deal with them. No categories, no other rather useless function but IT WORKS!!!!
  8. In response to post #7508575. *LOL* sorry couldn't resist
  9. I even wonder how and why this in general great tool (many thanks for your effort, guys) becomes more and more unusable and buggy from one release to another. It's close to hilarious. Just a suggestion: Instead of adding more and more features it would be cool if the known bugs and misbehaviours would be eliminated. I still use v0.34.0, it runs relativeley stabel and has bugs that I can prevent to occur and it does everything i need to arrange my mods.
  10. Even since 1.4... Ah, okay, thank you. 1.5 is that thing with the hard bugs, okay...
  11. It is a good idea to have a complete Backup of your Steam folder and store it in a safe place before applying a Skyrim update. I still have a backup from march 17 and I think it is better to lose some hours of game progress than getting my teeth broken by biting the edge of my wooden table...
  12. Example: One of the Stones of Barenziah was located in the Thalmor embassy, sice Patch 1.5 it is located in the Reeking cave under the Embassy. Now when I launch the CK and load skyrim.esm and update.esm the stone should be located in the cave but it is still placed inside the embassy. How does this happen?
  13. Sorry to ask that but I am a little confused after reading all the thread, maybe my English isn't that good... The only tool I am using for launching the game is the NMM and I often change/ install new mods manually, all without the automatic installation function of the NMM. When I have done changes I re-order the ESMs/ ESPs in the load list to my personal preference. So this is my question: Will that load oder be ignored or is ist the order in which the files will be loaded?
  14. @ luthienanarion: We aren't stupid, sorry... There is only: Yes No Cancel Where is "Yes to all"? Do they mean "Yes" to all or "Yes to all" ???
  15. In my case I had this issue with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas Nexus sites, Skyrim Nexus works fine. Dragonage etc. I am not interested in, so I cannot say what's going on there. --- Quick Fix: Copy C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts onto your desktop and open it with notepad. under the last comment line (starts with #) I put this lines: 184.173.181.29 static.fallout3nexus.com 184.173.181.29 static.newvegasnexus.com Save the file as hosts.txt, remove the .txt prefix and copy it to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, overwrite existing file. If you have this issue with another site (this example: Skyrim Nexus), do the following: In your browser right click on a picture that isn't displayed (only has a blank area or an X) and display the properties of the picture. You can see the full path, for example h t t p://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/noimage-1.png (I have stretched the http to h t t p to get it displayed properly here in this post) Got to your hosts file as described and put in this line (I follow the example) as described above: 184.173.181.29 static.skyrim.nexusmods.com Done. Advantage: It works Disadvantage: If the IP adress gets changed in the future that hosts are not reachable anymore unless you correct your hosts file, keep that in mind! If this does not work immediately do the following: -refresh the website or -open command line window and type in ipconfig /flushdns or restart your PC.
  16. Hi, I am new in modding in FO3, I just have created one very basic scope reticle and imported it into the scope01.nif. But I don't have any idea how to bring color into it. Basically the reticle is white and the only way to change it is by defining vertex color. I have tested some mods with scoped that have red dot in it for example or have parts of black and red combined. I checked the NIF files, they have no vertex color defined but didn't find anything else where to cange the color. Any hint would be great. Thanks.
  17. PLZ post some details about your system, FO3 installation location, Mods etc.
  18. Do you use FOMM and/ or FOSE? Do you have any mods installed? What is the Fallout 3 installation Directory? Windows 7 x86 or x64? Amount of RAM?
