It's cause if you aren't using armors or clothes made for the body mods,it'll use the default body with the vanilla stuff.

You got a low end videochip,and only 512MB ram allocated to it,if you can try to allocate more to it.You are probaly pushing it too hard.Play without mods,and then only enable the ones that aren't adding to the game.Also,try lowering settings,we all wanna play on ultra,but most laptops should be on medium or low.Realistic Lighting Overhaul jsut removes some of the old lights and puts proper ones,so shouldn't have effect on gameplay/performance.Any mods that put high res graphics,extend views,etc should be disabled or uninstalled.

Depends on his hardware,and if he uses mods.Mods that add alot more visually will slow things down.ENB,and some SKSE plugins can slow things tons if overdone.SOme tweaks to enhance view distance will make things slower.But a lower end laptop isn't good enough to play at higher than 20fps sometimes even on low settings.

Does BOSS tell you anything about incompatibilities,or load order changes? Do you got Intel or NVIDIA?If it's Intel graphics,then it's gonna not run good,if it's nvidia,then it should be ok.In launcher make sure you got the nvidia one as video card,if possible.

Try a new game,and see if it will let you sleep.If it lets oyu sleep,then it's specific to your save,maybe oyu tried a mod and uninstalled it,or the save corrupted and is glitchy.

Did you disable every mod to see if it still does it?Did oyu use BOSS to get load order,and incompatibilities,cuase that list I hope wasn't load order,cause some things are outta place.

So when you got to study,did you walk around,and talk to serana?You can't start next part til you find what she wants.I dunno when the outside door actually unlocks,cause i didn't leave til I was done with opening the portal.

Unofficial patches for Skyrim,hearthfire,dawnguard,and dragonborn if you got them,just get the patch for the game,and DLCs you own. Try em,they fix alot of issues.Only get the ones that you got installed.If oyu got any mods,might need to see if there's a conflict with one also.

Have you tried running in offline mode?Some ppl are having issues in online mode cause of a ad that wants to pop up.

Just upping all shadowmapresolutions to double the original INI setitng,and changing fShadowLODStartFade=200.0000 to fShadowLODStartFade=1000.0000 or higher will help.

Intel graphics = bad.Not much you can do at all with that.Laptops with AMD and NVIDIA are better,but gotta get the right ones with the last numbers 50-90(example HD7750 or gtx590).

First,make sure your harddrive is defragged.Then disable any mods you might be using.Did you delete the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini to make a clean version?Are you using any graphics replacers,like the official hires pack,any 2k HD pack,or body replacers.Videocard info woujd help,anything under 50 on the last numbers,and under 2GB ram shoudln't really have any graphics packs with textures over 2048,1024 sizes are alot better.Have you tried the latest beta drivers for your card?Do other games do same thing,or is it only Skyrim?

Maybe they were burning wet haystacks in some of the areas,lol.

Only thing I can tell,would be climates of tamriel,it enhances weather system,and could be part of the cause.Anything else you tweaked can change weather as well.

My save is 14.1Mb and still stable,and I don't have Dragonborn yet.

Did you use BOSS to check load order,and incompatibilities?What videocard you got?Maybe you need updated drivers,or it can't can't handle all the mods that affect things with lighting.Though realistic lighting only replaces the lights without adding extras,so it's no lag.Try backing up your INI,and seeing if different vanilla settings make a difference.Ultra,High,etc.

I only see it on round glow things,and almost barely on others.It might be a texture the glow uses for particles that's overlapping.Maybe AMD card had a setting that overblurred it,or you never jsut noticed it. Update:I tried modding some files,it helps a bit,but not fully,so it's something with the particle system overlapping the glow textures.It seems blurring the alpha on fxglowwhite01dark.dds helps a bit,but not alot.I'll check more files that need fixing,seems some aren't good and look like what happens with 16bit gradients.

Do you have any other mods installed?Did you do any INI tweaks?

That can do it,but only on objects,shouldn't affect textures on ground.

Seeing your INI,and list of mods would help,it could be a tweak that's not a ususal tweak you did.Also,if you use mods,they can affect it,especially ENB,light changers using SKSE,etc.
