  1. Your load order is really off. I would stick with LOOT rather than what you read in those posts. Alternate Start and the New Beginnings are recommended to be toward the bottom, if not at the very bottom, depending on some of the other mods. If you're getting occasional purple textures, you're likely running out of memory and I would definitely get ENBoost to help your computer's memory limitations and gain some other performance enhancements. Just at a quick glance, you have some duplicate mods. If you have Realistic Water Two Legendary, you don't need the RWT Dragonborn and Dawnguard esps. You have CoT Interiors and weathers, as well as ELFX interiors and weathers. Since you're somewhat new to this, you've got a big load order and I would start smaller to have a stable starting point. Read the forums of some of these mods and see if any are causing issues for others or what might just be too much for your computer. Tone down texture sizes if you're using large sizes, particularly textures related to the NPC's (skin, clothing). Get rid at least initially of some of the heavy hitting mods. The S.T.E.P. Wiki is a good starting point for a stable game as well. Site seems to be down as I'm posting this but check back there in a few days. But they also have information there on getting ENBoost setup. Start small, make sure things are stable, then add a mod or two at a time and see how things go.
  2. If you want SG to overwrite WICO, then you need to reverse the left pane priorities so SG is at the bottom below WICO. The lower it is (higher number), the higher it's priority. I know that probably sounds backwards, but think of each mod listed in the order it overwrites the previous one. Don't know about the red conflicts on the right, as I've only ever hidden textures on the left side. Since WICO is in a bsa, I would think as long as you have a loose texture on the left side overwriting it, you shouldn't have to mess with its data on the right.
  3. If anyone is still having this issue, try refreshing the page with CTL-F5. That did the trick for me. My husband and I both use FIrefox and I had the problem, but he didn't. Figured it had to be something other than the browser.
  4. Since you specifically are interested in story and quests, I'd say Vilja. It just boggles my mind how detailed she is with all her quests, story line that gets unveiled as you do her quests, and the amount of dialogue with other vanilla NPC's. There is so much there that the game becomes a bit more about Vilja than the Dragonborn. So be prepared to put your own quests aside often to help Vilja. I'm not a quest person and it's actually too much for me, but fortunately she has an option to tell her you've done all her quests already. Vilja and Inigo are my personal favorites and they chat to each other as well.
  5. Yep unmanaged DLC's won't cause crashes. Just make sure they are at the top on the left side, as they are on the right side. I haven't crashed in a couple years, so if you crash, it's from something else.
  6. That's normal. The official DLC's are in the data folder rather than mods installed with MO. My DLC's have always been unmanaged and I've left them that way.
  7. I can confirm now, that I have not had this animation issue once I removed wet & Cold. Which is actually really sadening, considering how much I loved that mod. But oh well. I do know that his issue can happen even without the mod, from talking with other folks. however.. without wet & Cold, the chances of the animation bug happening are reduced greatly. Glad you were able to nail it down for certain. It is saddening, because I enjoyed that mod too. Fortunately, I haven't run across the bug with any other mods I use once I got rid of that one. Never posted about it on their forums because I thought I was the only one or it was just a really rare bug, so curious how many others are experiencing it without realizing the possible cause.
  8. I'm not familiar with a lot of the mods you're using. But looks like you're using both Crimson Tide and Enhanced Blood, which are not compatible. Also, Crimson Tide on its own is considered highly unstable and known to cause issues in your game. I don't know that you can salvage your current save with that mod installed. Also, you have Claralux and ELFX Exteriors which requires a compatibility patch to use together. Even though the most recent version of Claralux is more stable than originally, personally it caused a lot of glitches in my game. Or maybe you're even using the older version. Is there a reason you only have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch rather than the Legendary, considering you have all the DLC's? Some of your mods are really old and Skyrim was updated after mod release, so there's the potential for issues there as well. I would run all this through TES5Edit and look for conflicts, along with dirty edits and deleted navmeshes. I'd also go through the old mods and see if there are more updated, safer versions that accomplish the same thing. You can check this Dangerous Mods List as a reference and also STEP is a great starting point for being sure you have a stable base to mod from.
  9. So by completely vanilla, you're not using any mods at all? Do you have the unofficial patches? They do some mesh fixing. Since you've been deleting game files, I'd go to Steam and verify the integrity of the game files.
  10. No, I just remember the vanilla road textures being a little mismatched. I've been using texture replacers so long, I forgot what the vanilla roads looked like. Are you using an ENB by chance?
  11. With Full Dialogue Interface, just checking that you made the changes they mention on the front page to your Fallout4Custom.ini to the Archive section? I personally kept the original interface but I see others on the forum having the issue you are. But if you're seeing the dialogue changes, at least you know the mod is working. FO4 has been updated since that mod was released so it might be related to newer updates. Heard the most recent update messed up a lot of mods, so I play with Steam offline to avoid forced updates. I never used Silent UI, but I do use Silence, which seems to have similar features without the esp that Silent UI has. Just be certain to click Yes for any overwrites. If you want to remove the combat music, you can try Dynamic Music Overhaul. Texture mods you can safely remove and put back on if you want to just log in and see what it looks like without to do some comparison to be sure you are seeing changes.
  12. Have you tried Blended Roads? That's what I use, and it looks great.
  13. Most of what you listed are replacers to sounds or textures or changes to the UI and therefore don't have an esp file associated with it. So you won't see them listed under the plugins. They should be working in game. If you're using the Eyes of Beauty Author's pick, then that's a replacer as well without an esp. The other EoB file options do have an esp; so if you're using one of those, then yeah that should be showing in your plugins. No idea about those pistols, but reading some comments in Bug forums of the M9, it seems you're not the only one with that issue. Looking at the file structure structure of his mod, looks like he placed some textures in the wrong folder. Don't know about the M9A1. He has an optional version that's packed into ba2 instead of loose. That version might work better for you...or the other way around if you downloaded the option already.
  14. For the backpacks, I use Chesko's Campfire mod. Not sure if it will solve your issue, but it did mine. I've done searches on this and found it odd no one else had this issue. It took me going through a lot of different characters until I started to notice the pattern. Just curious, were you using it a couple years back without this issue as well?
  15. I had been having that for the longest time and never saw anyone else mention it. For me it's typically chopping firewood or boarding the carriage. And if I'm not close enough to another animation object to click on to get unstuck, I just have to log out. I play several characters and finally realized it only happened in my profiles that had Wet and Cold. It started happening either when I upgraded to Windows 10 or when Wet and Cold got an update, so not sure which of the two is contributing because this was never an issue earlier on. Not sure if that's what it is in your case. I loved Wet and Cold but just couldn't deal with that issue and had to give it up.
  16. Yeah getting all these ctd's in so many areas is not common. I see you're using an older version of the unofficial patches (there's an all-in-one legendary version now), which may mean some of your other files were updated to fix issues. Make sure you have the most recent RaceMenu. There was a version a long while back that was causing some ctd's but it's been fixed. I'd go through all your mods and see what's been updated. And also check the forums of each mod to check for any reported bugs similar to yours. Also, check out this dangerous mods list. You're using PerkUp which apparently can cause issues with your game.
  17. It's something I had to deal with off and on for years and never could pin it to a mod, but there's finally a fix that works. Modern Brawl Bug Fix will resolve this. However, I see you're using INeed and Sleeping Bags. If you want to try Campfire, this same fix is included in that package.
  18. At a quick glance, it's likely a conflict with Open Cities. Anything that adds to the cities usually needs a patch for OC. Could be a conflict with Notice Board, Missives, Inconsequential NPC's, and/or Skyrim Sewers.
  19. I see you have Pilgrim in your load order. That mod causes your hair and everything else to always look wet. One of the mod authors addressed it in the forums after several people posted it as a bug. Because all the weathers in Pilgrim are foggy/misty, everything has a wet look even if it's not raining. It's why I stopped using the mod.
  20. If you're using CoT, it's the sun and sun glare texture that affects that. Back when I used CoT, I used Realistic Sun for CoT. That may get more of a look you're trying to achieve. Or if you find another sun texture like that's not for CoT, you can rename it so it replaces the CoT textures.
  21. Special Edition version of what I use in Classic to help this issue: Move it Dammit
  22. I get it occasionally in the start prison as well. Never caused me issues. Heard it can happen with any mod that affects followers. In my case, it's Auto Unequip Ammo.
  23. I never had CTD's with Wet and Cold but did have issues with my activators whenever it was in my load order. Clicking on firewood, riding the carriage, etc. would occasionally cause my character to be stuck in place and I would have to reload to a previous save. Really enjoyed the mod, but I had to give it up. Hadn't thought of it being related to Windows 10, but now that you mention it, I don't remember having that issue when I had Win 7.
