  1. When you uninstalled all mods, did you manually check the data to see if anything got left behind? Specifically, see if there's an Interface folder that got left behind and delete it if so. Are you using F4SE to start the game and if so have the version that works with whatever game version you're using?
  2. Not sure why you think SSE would not play as smoothly as LE? If anything it should be the other way around. SSE has been out almost two years and both SSE and LE still have about the same number of mods released each month. There will be some mod authors moving on and others who have no interest in moving on. So really you just need to look at what mods you want to use and which version they are available in. Personally I still play LE. I have all the mods I want, my game is stable and I just prefer how it looks with ENB over SSE. You'll read varying opinions so really it's just up to your personal choice. I honestly wouldn't worry about modding stopping for LE if that's your sole reason.
  3. If you check the wiki page for SoTC, it lists Iris as unvoiced. So my guess is the other NPC's you've encountered from TotC are also intentionally unvoiced.
  4. Minutemen are just one faction option to gain access to the Institute. If you want to do the main quest and are joining the BoS or RR, then you can completely ignore the MM and circle around Concord. And some conversations even play out diferently if you go there later in the game.
  5. My husband had something similar happen when he attempted to reinstall Elder Scrolls Online from disc. He changed the install path from C drive to D, which is where Steam is also located, and in the process it deleted every program on his D drive. I guess this is now a known issue with ESO discs but wondering as a previous poster said if you've installed anything recently that had a similar effect.
  6. Like I said in my previous post, settlements have a limit for food and water production. Once the limit is reached, pumps stop producing water and settlers can no longer be assigned to new crops. Hence my link to a mod that prevents that from happening. Aye, I know. But I had it happen even with just a few purified and one single dirty water in there, well below the cap with both combined.
  7. There are mods you can use in survival mode to accomplish returning many non-survival features. I've tried a few but what has worked best for me without any issues or bugs are: Unlimited Survival Mode - To restore several vanilla features. It's an F4SE plugin with no esp, so doesn't take up a mod slot, but requires MCM Create Your Own Difficulty Rebalance - You can adjust how much damage you receive and dish out No Dirty Mattress or Sleeping Bag Restrictions - So you can get a full night's rest without a fancy bed I never used it, but a quick google to restore the healing rate led me Survival Tweaks No Healing Speed Penalty. But if you adjust your damage with the other mod, the healing rate may not be an issue.
  8. Not sure if it's related to your issue but a long while back I ran into this problem of one settlement not producing water. I found a post mentioning that it can happen when there is dirty water in the workshop. I removed the dirty water, along with all purified water, checked back in a couple days, and the purified water was being produced again. No idea why that would cause that, but since then I've been in the habit of keeping dirty water out of my workshops.
  9. Mods from Steam remain in your data folder even after unsubscribing. They just show up as unchecked. If you don't want to see them and remove completely, look for them in steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/data and manually delete them.
  10. If you don't mind going back some saves before the radio distress call, I always use https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25043 to keep this DLC from triggering, along with any other DLC's you don't want to start. I'm like you. I don't like it at all and only have it for mods that require it.
  11. I have the FO4 Looksmenu Presets blocked as well, but they always show anyway even if correctly tagged. My only solution was to block the authors.
  12. Those are older mods looking for an older version of Frostfall. If you want to use them, you'll need to use the 2.6 Legacy version of Frostfall found under Miscellaneous files. If you preview the file contents, you'll see the Legacy version is called Chesko_Frostfall.esp while the new version is just Frostfall.esp. But if you use that, you'll also need to get rid of the Campfire mod which only works with the new version.
  13. My own googling brought me to the Horizon mod page. In their description: "Horizon 1.4 also includes a new revival system. Upon death, you will be revived at the closest settlement available. This mode can be disabled if you wish. This mode is still considered a BETA, and will continue to be expanded."
  14. First, you need to cap your frames. Skyrim has all sorts of issues if you go over 60 fps. Once you've capped your frames, if you still get a stutter, try removing the ENB. If the ENB is causing performance issues, make sure your enblocal.ini is configured for your system and that you're only using the needed files from the wrapper. The STEP guide offers some good guidelines on getting this set up along with some other great performance tips. Try reducing the ReservedMemorySizeMB to 128 or 64. Be sure the VideoMemorySizeMB is set correctly or set AutodetectVideoMemorySize to True if uncertain.
  15. Run all your mods through TES5Edit and look for deleted navmesh or UDRs, that possibly another mod is trying to reference. Or there may be a corrupt mesh in that area. If nothing shows up in TES5Edit, try removing mods that add encounters or extra things there. Things like Extra Encounters, Farm Animals, possibly OBIS. Aside from that, the best way would be to start clean. Add one mod at a time, textures included, and fast travel over there.
  16. Classic for me as well. It's been completely crash free for me for the past two years. With the ENB's I use, it looks better visually. SE can't compete with the stunning screenshots you're able to take in Classic. The majority of mods I use aren't on SE, and they, along with ENB, are part of what keeps me playing. For my play style and interests, there's nothing to be gained but much to be lost by switching to SE.
  17. In response to post #57309146. #57309676 is also a reply to the same post. Thanks for the info. Appreciate it.
  18. After watching a couple videos and reading through the posts here, I had a question on how overwrites work as it appears to be only complete overwrites offered. I currently use MO for Skyrim and NMM for FO4. If I use say two texture packs, and I want one pack to overwrite another, except for a few textures I prefer from the first pack, is there a way to handle that in Vortex? In MO, I hide the textures I don't want to overwrite another. In NMM, I watch the textures getting overwritten and click "No" to specific ones. Can we pick and choose this way in Vortex, where we see what is conflicting and choose specific files to hide?
  19. Skyrim Unbound never had the charred body, and there's no mention of it in their description. Only Alternate Start did. Last I used Unbound, you can set when you want the first dragon to appear. The default is like a week after you start playing. You kill a dragon, which starts Way of the Voice sending you to High Hrothgar. So it bypasses having to run to Whiterun and kill the dragon at the tower.
  20. Better Companions-No Conflicts - Combines the effects of Companion Infinite Ammo, No Companion Power Armor Damage, Companions Can Sneak, and No Companion Fall Damage, WITHOUT making any edits to vanilla records and WITHOUT scripts. Icebreaker Settler Dialogue Overhaul - 400+ new lines of settler dialogue. Settlers stop accusing you of being a synth and are generally much nicer. Crafting Highlight Fix - Gets rid of the blurry overlay when you craft, so you can actually see what you are making. Diverse Dogs - Adds variety to the appearance of the dogs. Love adding dogs to my settlements now. Includes cats as well. Keep Commonwealth Radiant Quests Within the Commonwealth - Because I hate being sent to Far Harbor and Nuka World before I'm ready to go there. The Wasteland Codex - Newer mod still receiving updates. You unlock various entries about places and creatures as you travel the Commonwealth. You can have it set to play automatically or listen later. Quest-Related: The Danse Dilemma - Uses cut dialogue so you can challenge Maxon during Blind Betrayal.
  21. Yeah can't imagine why it would change suddenly, unless you just came across a different area with certain trees. I've used Kaidan without issue and wouldn't think there's tree edits in there, but I'm not using most of those mods you are. Start with removing Enhanced Vanilla Trees and see if that helps. Aside from LOD it could also be a mismatch between a tree texture and mesh. With all the tree mods you have going, one texture of one mod might not like the mesh of another mod if it doesn't have it's own mesh file.
  22. Looks like an LOD issue. You've got a lot of different tree mods, several of them with their own LOD files. You either need to use something like DynDOLOD to get them all working together or go through all your tree-related mods and seeing which combination helps makes things look better. The RealVision page suggests using SFO version 1.71 rather than the latest version and using AOF Tree LOD's which is now listed in the Old Files section rather than Optionals. Are you using those? Try sticking with one tree-adding mod like SFO initially to see how things look. Make sure you're using SFO/Vurt patches on any of the other tree mods you add (like Enhanced Vanilla Trees).
  23. I'm guessing you have the twinkle stars from Vivid Weathers as seen in this video (go to the halfway mark)? Try running the installer again for Vivid Weathers and don't choose the star and galaxy texture option. Be sure to uncheck the Vivid Weathers esp afterwards, as stated on the NLVA page. If that doesn't do it, make sure you don't have another star texture in your data/texture/sky folder.
  24. Try right clicking NMM and run as an administrator. Go to Settings. Uncheck and recheck Associate with NXM URLs. See if that resets it for you.
  25. Any mods adding more spawns just adds to Skyrim's memory issues. Are you using ENBoost to help with performance? Personally, I tried OBIS long ago and experienced crashes, so never used it again. Although that was long before the most recent Windows update. And a lot is dependent on what other mods you're using already adding to the load in those areas, like flora or textures, etc. Since you specifically mentioned the crashes starting with the spawn mods, I'd start with adding ENBoost if you haven't already. And then running TES5Edit to see what those mods might conflict with. Turn down the frequency and number of spawns in the MCM if you haven't. The STEP guide is pretty useful in helping get a stable game going too. You don't have to use all their recommended mods, but there's some good information there on getting ENBoost setup, along with some other tweaks and bug fixes.
