For me they both show in the effects menu, so I don't know what to say. Bug?

I always play male first (did this with the Mass Effect Series, and did it in Fallout 3) as a good/paragon character, and after my first playthrough make a female character which I use as a bad/renegade character and experiment with the more negative choices in the game. Edit: no, there isn't an underlying reason for this lol. I don't think all females are evil, etc. Its just how it happens since naturally being a (non-pervert? lol) male, I would want my first avatar to be a male.

Hmm... this is quite a bug if you really didn't do ANYTHING (not even a mission?). Backtrack and see what you did, anything that might have caused the bug?

They said that I would get attacked with Veronica in my party too, but I didn't. Also, he may disappear, but he might not as well. For instance, I never experienced any of the Veronica lock ups. My Brotherhood Experience was flawless. In any case, even if he doesn't disappear, it would be foolish to try and take him anyways, because as he warns you, he will shoot legion on sight.

I imagine someone can get the cane model and work with that, and just have it act as a pistol maybe? Since the melee cane holsters on the hip anyways as well.

Oh lol, I know what you mean. Did it once when I was changing safehouses. Sometimes I accidentally take everything in a dead persons inventory, which sucks because if I don't know what I took, I have to go through my inventory to find it.

I'm tempted to try and get a voice sample for you, but its embarrassing tbh lol. I don't have a very robotic sounding voice in any case, so I don't think it matters. Maybe I'll work up the courage.

lol, Ive been thinking about it since before I even entered New Vegas, hoping there would be a boxing ring to fight in (since I knew there was one in FO2). Needless to say, I was disappointed when I found there wasn't one. Very good mod suggestion =o Though they MUST have plans for this at some point, though it should have been in the Vanilla game in the first place. Edit: Someone else feels that it will probably show up in a DLC, It's fate. THEY MUST =D

I assume the darker nights are inspired by games like Stalker? Anyways, if you have ever played Stalker, even with a flashlight you still cant see a damn thing.

Have you tried the mod? That subway looks very familiar. Unless the mod itself is just the weapons and the armor?

As far as I know though, its not like FO3. In that regardless, if you don't have the right amount of points, IT WILL NOT WORK. So I personally don't find this a good idea.

I dont get it. It gave me a massive boost in performance, that's really what matters atm. Its just a .dll file. Once I hear about Bethesda patching the game in a way which optimizes the games performance, then I will remove the .dll but until then, it stays. Also, when a file corrupts, steam has a function called "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" where it scans the game files and replaces any troublesome/missing files, instead of you having to fully reinstall (that's the impression I got on how it works at least)

What do you mean the sense of humor isnt there?! I have laughed quite a bit playing this game. Dialogue with Arcade and Veronica especially got me laughing =P

Wait, but you said something about updating. There have been like, 2 updates since release. And it doesn't even really affect your internet connection while not updating because you aren't really doing much besides being connected to the service. Don't over exaggerate (What it feels like to me when people talk about steam eating up one resource or another)

I dont RP, though I'm thinking of trying to be realistic. Maybe finding out how to limit my carry capacity, and only carry a pistol and a rifle playing Hardcore on Hard for a playthrough. Would be a nice challenge =o Well.. not that you mention it, I guess I RP a little bit in my head, but its not too deep really. Just crap I think about while playing.
