Game has mods but cant find game

So the game i want to mod has mods available but the vortex app will not find the game that i require to mod. How am i supposed to mod a game that has mods available but i can't find the damn game from the vortex app?

Vortex doesn't support every game we have mods for on site.

 

The list of recognized games is here: https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/? - click the "supported games" tab for the list.

 

If the game you're trying to mod is not on there then the you have to find out how the game is usually modded and go from there.

As TheVampireDante has already said, not all games hosted on Nexus Mods are supported by Vortex. Your game may be one of those. In that case, either manually install your mods, look for a mod manager that does support the game, or write an extension for Vortex, as many other gamers have done. The reason why the mod is on the Nexus Mods site is because Nexus Mods is a mod hosting site, not a mod manager supply house. Nexus Mods has been hosting mods since before mod managers were invented and continues to host mods for games that have no mod manager.

These Download Buttons are available on about 99% of the mod pages on the nexus.

It all depends on the Mod Author.

The other 1% of pages will only have a Manual Download Button
