War of the Commonwealth Vortex Plugin problem

I have been looking for a concrete answer, but on my Vortex, the button to enable/disable plugins are not even shown for Fallout4 and DLCs. All the other mods are working fine, except for Wotc mod. I have checked he plugin.txt, and the dlcs are not there. Should I bother typing them in? What should I do?

Not to worry. Your situation is perfectly normal. Vortex never provides a status button for the core game ESMs, nor does it list the ESMs in the plugin list.

 

As for your problem with the War of the Commonwealth mod, you might be better off taking it to a Fallout 4 support forum.

while this isn't a vortex issue at all i would want to suggest to you that your game will be so much better off if you dont use that mod. when it was being maintained it was insanely unstable and wrecked so many of my saves. it hasn't been updated in a long time and the game has gone through several iterations since it was last updated.

 

there are better, more stable solutions out there. skk50 has a whole slew of mods that do what wotc did/does but doesn't destroy your games. you'd be doing yourself a huge favor if you checked out those and removed wotc from your load order.

while this isn't a vortex issue at all i would want to suggest to you that your game will be so much better off if you dont use that mod. when it was being maintained it was insanely unstable and wrecked so many of my saves. it hasn't been updated in a long time and the game has gone through several iterations since it was last updated.

 

there are better, more stable solutions out there. skk50 has a whole slew of mods that do what wotc did/does but doesn't destroy your games. you'd be doing yourself a huge favor if you checked out those and removed wotc from your load order.

Just go to the Fallout 4 game mods page and type SKK in the search box.

 

He puts SKK in the title of all his mods so that they'll come up when you search SKK

 

I used to use WOTC back when it was the only mod of its kind, but I got sick of having to abandon my games once they got corrupted, plus they refused to fix, or even acknowledge the Bug that made all of the Synths Friendly to the Player

 

It made the game super easy because you could just walk through the places where you were supposed to have to fight through a bunch of synths to get to your goal.

 

OH, I also suggest avoiding the mod "Endless Warfare" that has 1,475 scripts in it, and will eventually bloat your savegame to death.
