prod80
Go check this out: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34886/ in case you have missed it! Simply amazing. Even the low res version (in screenshots) is stunning... the high res is 22 MB when zipped! http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/6440158-1370899099.jpg http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/6440158-1370899031.jpg http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/6440158-1370898981.jpg

Shotokanguy
Something about these night sky mods bothers me - vanilla Skyrim has nothing but stars, right? Do these replacers make it so you see the galaxies and nebula in the sky every single night, or are there normal starry nights sometimes as well? I mean, those night sky mods can look cool, but it's not exactly realistic and the novelty is bound to wear off. Not to mention how they look in weather or with the auroras in the sky... The vanilla galaxy is very pale, and not too noticeable, but appears quite often if not every day (I spend too much time in dungeons). The vanilla stars, compared to some replacers, are very sparse. As for the novelty wearing off...I installed Enhanced Nights Skyrim (which also shows before and after of the vanilla and ENS stars and galaxy options) pretty much when it first came out, have yet to play a game without it, and still spend some time now and then looking up at the in-game sky. It's pretty. =
prod80
I also used Enhanced Nights Skyrim, because quite frankly - there wasnt anything better.... until this beauty came along. It's amazingly detailed... As for "Do these replacers make it so you see the galaxies and nebula in the sky every single night, or are there normal starry nights sometimes as well?" Galaxies move across the sky much like they do on earth - ever been in the Desert at night with no ambient light around and looked up? It's amazing. And no it's not always visible - sometimes it's moved across the horizon or behind mountains. On our lovely planet earth it's the same thing... the milkyway is all around the planet - so the only time you wouldn't fully see it is when it's aligned to what would be the horizon for you. It cannot be "on the other side of the planet" because it's all around the planet.
Kraeten
I LOVE these kind of mods. Makes me actually want to savor the evening instead of just speeding up the time. Thanks for showing it to us!
