Better adult content filtering

I think Nexus sites should add an easily accessible (and on by default) filter to hide adult content.

 

I have no problem with the existence of adult mods, but it's disturbing to come to Skyrim Nexus and have "Schlongs of Skyrim" and similar splashed right across the front. If people are interested in that kind of thing, they should have to consciously go look for it. I think it does the whole mod community a disservice to have the primary mod website have pornographic content prominently featured on its homepage and top files lists.

It is blocked by default, you have to be signed in and have it enabled to see it.

There are female followers/female textures/female "armors" on the front page all week every week. You just have to ignore them and find the decent mods buried underneath the garbage.

 

It reminds me of deviantArt which has some pretty awesome art if you dig past the furries, Anime X Anime and bronies.

I think that nexus is good as it is...and the hot file are the most new and endorsed.

The only thing that i complain for is that there should be more than 6 hot file..and it would be nice is there would be these 4 categories like: (adult/body hot file, graphycs hot file, game object/skill hot file , various hot file)

Those categories would set the current trends in stone - while consigning anyone who bothers to add meaningful content (instead of more nudity) to the game to the "various" category.

Now saying the adult mods are "garbage" is a bit harsh. Just because it's not to your liking/taste doesn't mean something is bad. Same goes for art...

And I've had no problem with the adult filtering, when I'm not signed in, I don't see any adult mods - Which is as it should be by default. You have to go into your settings to turn the filter off - after you've made an account, why isn't that good enough?

Indeed, calling a mod garbage because it doesn't fit your personal tastes is the epitome of bad on these sites. I resent people who have that attitude.
