LatinGames
Hi Friends, I have this the Idea for a new Mod: Create a guild of assassin hitmen, including Wenches, combat Arena and killers, that when a Bounty is activated to hunt a Bandit Boss, the boss may or may not Hire one or several high-level Hitmen who will try to kill the DragonBorn in a very random and different ways, before he can reach the boss's Camp, That's it, what do you think? I don´t have the enough CK skills to develop my self, But I would love see this on Skyrim LG
Robbie922004
Generally speaking, it's kind of bad etiquette to make mod requests for something large-scale like this. Ask yourself these questions: 1) Why would somebody want to devote hundreds of hours to bringing your idea to life rather than one of their own?2) What role would you play in helping bring your idea to life, or do you expect somebody else to do all the work? Instead, I would encourage you to try dipping your toes into the Creation Kit by starting small and accruing knowledge. You might not have the CK skills right now, but the only way to develop them is by breaking your teeth and learning. It's not advisable to start a large-scale project like this right out of the gate as your first real project, but why not start with a simple quest or a boss encounter? After that, try to spend some time learning the scripting system and seeing if you can achieve your goals that way. A great place to start is Darkfox127 on YouTube. He's has a huge number of tutorials that are insanely helpful for learning the ins and outs of the Creation Kit, and he's also one of the nicest people I've engaged with in the community. Good luck! Thanks for your advice Sir, But do not deny the possibility to a good High Level Modder to take ideas for a Skyrim project, Of course I will collaborate with whoever decides to develop it by testing, reviewing dialogue scripts, translating and any other activity that adds value. :geek: If I start learning to develop, due to my time limitations, when I finish Learning CK, Elder Scrolls VI will be out and this mod will no longer be used by ANYONE

Small mods requiring no more than a few hours work, sure, that has happened.
Ethreon
I think you should post this in the appropriate forums.
TRCMods
Mod authors are creative people. We have more ideas than we know what to do with. We don't need anyone else's thank you very much.My advice to you is thisLook at your big ideaFind one small (very small) piece of it. Make thatRepeat Adopt a learn as you go strategySince we're talking a guild/faction then you are going to need to learn quests so seddons ck tutorials are what you need.Build it like this Learn to make a custom npcNext give them simple dialogueNext branching dialogueNext simple fetch quest (go fetch my book from my house)Next put a small dungeon between the npc and their house, just some caves and a few banditsNext learn traps etc Little by little you develop and reinforce your skills and slowly increase the scale and complexity of your mod until you have all the skills you need to make it yourself. This is pretty much how everyone here got started. Edited August 12, 2021 by TRCMods
JimboUK
If you don't know how to use the CK then the only offers of help you're likely to get will come from others who can't use it either, you have to have something compelling to show before you'll get any help from those who know what they're doing. If you want to turn ideas into reality you're gonna have to learn how to do it yourself.
Kevek53215
As they said... no1 gonna do that big mod for You for -Free- If You want someone to make Mod huge like this You will have to either make it urself... or spend some money $$$ But im gonna warn You about money... Some Outfit creators wants between 20$ / 200$ for outfit ( depends on Texture quality, physics etc. ) So either its gonna be cheap and bad... or u will have to spend tons of money... If You really want that Mod You can make it !... And there is many tutorials You can use... but i don't think DF127 is good way to go... 1) His tutorials are very simple ( way too simple - he dont explain WHY and HOW - he just say what to do to make specific thing ) 2) His Discord Server is Dead... at least was dead last time i was visiting him... ppl ask Questions... no1 answet them... You can visit here: discord.gg/CDkcv22 If You want to make Mod You described in this Topic i can help You. I can help you with: - Textures ( if u need any ) - Scripts ( You will need them for Quests and Your "Arena" ) - DLLs / Frameworks ( so if u want some more complex stuff like User Interface, MCM, LEWD stuff etc. ) - CreationKit ( Basic stuff is rly easy in CK and u can start doing things after 15 min - building location etc. ) I can write Scripts for You but only when i have free time, or share my scritps with You and tell u how to use them. But first i want to warn You that Discord Link i uploaded 1) its my Server 2) there is no rules... pretty much no rules but u can't go too crazy xDstilll... if You don't like "weird" stuff... don't open "closed" channels. General Chat should be 100% safe to use :)

Though that idea sounds extremely good, the mod authors on the nexus are gunna :wallbash: gold bricks for you asking for their help like this.Sadly it's extremely hard to receive any mod requests that are as extensive like that one is. Honestly, they really should just remove the mod request forums, all they do is start arguments and heated fights. I woudn't be surprised if most users who get banned or in trouble come from there as well. If you don't wanna help make the mod, just don't comment. Simple as that. I'm pretty sure the mod users all know how hard it is to make a mod. They just want to see the mod made. If it's nothing you're wanting to do, just leave their topic be. As for me, I can't help other than with writing poetry and just recently followers, and even that is still kinda tough to do, let alone make a whole inn full of them.
