That's the point, equipment failure do to some sort of technology causing it, it happened before when they first found the anomaly in question. Coincidence???, or its cursed

Well, paranormal investigators have a habit of claiming equipment problems because of ghosts or angry spirits or something like that... So maybe it's alien ghosts. Or ghost aliens. Maybe pirates.

In all seriousness though, equipment failures in these kinds of documentaries are actually common enough to become some sort of trope. These failures usually happen because of equipment that isn't maintained, not calibrated, not tested, operated by people who don't know what they're doing, or there is an invested interest in claiming an equipment failure. Or... you know, those instances where equipment which invalidates your theories must obviously be malfunctioning.

Ancient Aliens ... my favourite comedy show.

If you believe in aliens then I suppose you I could ask the question, "Do you believe in inter-dimensional beings ?"

If your reply is "Yes", then I don't suppose that you would have a problem with the supernatural like poltergeists etc. etc.,

who are inter-dimensional.

Isn't that "other-worldly" ?

However, this would all be meaningless if you were naturally inclined to dismiss anything that you couldn't explain - like

aliens ... lol.

Anyhow, that having being said, I believe in aliens because I believe that inter-dimensional beings exist.

There is so much that can be said from this angle "without" having to bring religion into it yet for the sake of

the tender hearts I think I'll skip the time and effort to explain myself.

Not these guys, they even have a website Vagrant0, i was following there quest sense the beginning, at least when this unique bit of news broke out.

They even have a website if you have any questions...

http://www.oceanexplorer.se/

They even have something similar to kickstarter if you want to help them find the truth behind the anomaly

This is the dome shape, does that look like windows to you, with working lights, it does in my mind.

Those are the lights of the submersible shining on the side of a round boulder.

there funding goal is 3.332,00€.

I like this image they have on their site, it gives panorama view of the object in question

Or conditions under the ocean are pretty extreme and camera operation failure and other under-sea equipment failure is pretty common. If they are going to really investigate they need to hire some reputable underwater archeologist also.

Whatever it is just going after it willy-nilly is a no-no. If it really is of alien origin (or anything at all) I would think they would want to cross all their T's and dot all their i's when handling and investigating. That way if it is something they can negate any people saying "oh you didn't handle/inv the object properly..blah blah."

Honestly it could be anything and I wouldn't believe anything based on those photos and REALLY not an artist rendering. When you investigate you are supposed to have an open mind and let the evidence speak for itself...not have preconceive notions on what you think it is or want it to be.

It is interesting..I hope they do a proper job of it and hire some well-respected folks to help.

From the website and links provided by Thor, it seems Peter Lindberg (one of the owners of Ocean X) identified the "anomaly" as being a rock formation and likely from glacial action, in 2012.

There is also a link to the test results of samples taken that show the item to be of basalt and common sediment. However, what is interesting is some samples also revealed iron oxide and soot from organic materials. While the iron oxide is commonly found on earth, finding it with samples from the rock indicates there might be an as yet undiscovered wreck of a ship near the same location.

Sort of makes one wonder why Ocean X is not just up front and saying what they found and still playing with the "Dive for Truth" angle? Could it be that in an area where diving companies are in stiff competition to gain funds from donations and sponsors, advertising a dive to an "unknown anomaly" is just a bit more interest and attention getting than advertising a dive on "another possible ship wreck in an area with thousands upon thousands of ship wrecks". Sort of makes one a wee bit suspicious.

Actually, glad the links were posted. Apparently, the Baltic is a recreational divers dream for diving on wrecks. Seems there are estimates of up to 100,000 possible wrecks in the area and thousands that are well within a recreational divers reach. Already started making plans for a trip.

You didn't read the full analysis, if there is a kickcstarter campaign to find what this object is claimed to be, the nay sayers will find out what it really is. I doubt its a rock, if it was a rock that fell from the sky the path, the way it landed would cause an explosion like the kind that wiped out the dinosaurs. An object that size would not simply land like that on the surface of the ocean, which in its self a fresh water ocean.

With the Baltic sea unique fresh water and salt water mixture, ship wrecks are in great preservation.

http://wwf.panda.org/what_we_do/where_we_work/baltic/area/

they say the chemical analysis is the surface features of the object as the sediment landed on the object.

and its not anchored to the bottom of the Baltic sea, they also claim it to be over 100,000 years old.

there is a claim of a second object in the same location in the bottom of the Baltic sea, i remember some animation claiming a possible battle or something if its a ufo.

more up to date videos, as of July this year.

up close shot of the object.

And my theory may be correct about the ufo jamming idea.

  • 2 weeks later...

There was picture of Baltic UFO somewhere ages ago. It looked like mushroom with hole in the middle. Like a lava thing. But there is no volcanos in baltic.

And ofcourse aliens exist. They are all over around us. Some call them spirits or ghosts. But they are aliens, nothing more. Beings from other dimension. Not outerspace.
