So... I may have accidentally updated a mod which is meant for AE... and now I can't re-download the version I need because it has apparently been archived. Where might these archived files exist... if they exist?

You'll need to find the direct link to it. Maybe in your browser or mod manager history. If it is USSEP someone posted a thread with the link somewhere around here.

Archived mods are meant to create stability for Collections. It prevents the Collection from being broken if a mod disappears. Mod authors can currently choose whether or not archived files are still viewable by users.

Strange that after all the kerfuffle, archiving has been a bit of a saving grace during this unexpected compiler change mess.

which mod are you missing? saw that the ussep patch for old skyrim version is available on nexus, if you search (via google) for it.

That was actually it... and I did find the link... and lost it again... hahaha. I just switched from Vortex to MO2 for a fresh start and while I saved most of my mods to a separate drive, I somehow kakked on that one.

Thanks... Reddit actually came through for me though. I now have it saved in a triple-encrypted vault.
