Deleted132962438User
Greetings but i don't get it. A Mod creator posts a mod. He can choose to actively support it or not. His choice. If he chooses to abandon and not support it only one thing makes sense.Free Asset use/ conversion permission so the mod doesn't become like Imhotep in the lost City of Hamunaptra. No one can convince me otherwise. There is no counter argument. Also too frequently people i see ask questions in a mod page wether mod author has active support and troubleshooting is his choice. People ask questions maybe they will get answers maybe not. Peole ask troubleshooting questions or Mod guide questions maybe they will get answers or maybe not. So if you were born with a CK Instruction Manual implanted you are lucky and all the rest of us are not. Usually we have to go Discord to even have a propper discussion and i wonder why. Is this here not the Mod Hosting Site with Posts Bug Section and Forums? Then why should i be forced to an external Site (Discord) to have access to the discussion? What has an External Social Media Site to do with a Mod hosted here?Host it on Discord then or any External Site with its own method of Discussion and Communication. But this is the Site we use this is the Site where the Mod is hosted so no Discord. It just doesn't make sense and i refuse to accept things that don't make sense. What happened to propper Troubleshooting and Development? There is nothing. You can't find any information any more. I am in AFK Mods and i took a look into Unofficial Patch Project Maintenance Support Troubleshooting and Development section. That's how its done! Otherwise Skyrim modding will slowly become abandoned and die. Its nothing like in 2011-2012. Big difference.
showler
Other people aren't you. They do things the way they prefer. That's it.
Mercury71
Mods are free at Nexus. You can not expect the same support you (sometimes) get from pro developers. Many makes mods just for the fun of it and it is just a bonus if they put them on Nexus for us to enjoy.I am amazed over how many mod authors that do give support, for free!
