Gabbemaster
The fact that Oblivion has such fantastic graphic, isn't all good... You will need a "DAMN GOOD COMPUTER!", and that is expensive, really expensive...And we poor guys dosn't have all the money to buy such a good computer... Hmm... Maybe I shall become a Ninja, then I can rob some old ladies, or taxidrivers, or Bethestha teamsters, and such... :shifty: Na, just kidding :D
Eladar
Just thought i'd tell you that the official website has the screenshots up now and with it a whole load of concept art. It looks very impressive.
Peregrine
http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls...n/558955p1.html Just read that article linked to from the main site, and almost died of shock. Anyone still think Oblivion is going to be a disappointment? Technically speaking, the world of Oblivion is actually larger than Morrowind Critics, you may now be silent. hyperk3
Yeab, that's right peregrine, besides, bethesda hasn't disapointed us yet, why would they start now?
Ancalagon
Man, reading that article gave me so much hope for Oblivion. All those statements about the realism and such of the world and npc interaction is going to be astounding. And I know Bethseda will not dissapoint, because they've produced fine quality products before and actually care about the players. At least in this respect, I believe that what they say is going to be in Oblivion, will be in Oblivion. Unlike the over-hyped monstrousity that was Fable, BBB and PM obviously could talk the talk but couldn't walk the walk. Leave "the RPG to end all RPG's" to Bethseda, for they have yet to let me down. Though, I sort of liked wandering around aimlessly in MW for hours, but the addition of mounted rides makes sense. *too happy for words to express, even realizing that this is going to break his bank in terms of a new computer.... :D  (on a side note, found out Bethseda is making Fallout 3, but there is little info on it if any at all, save that it is being made!!) Geonox
The screens sure look fantastic! The game is going to be awesome but like some of you said before I also think you will need a very good computer to play this game. But to me these screenshots look very realistic compaired to Morrowind. Especially the screenshot of the dungeon and the characters! But one thing which kind of bugs me, is that it still supports shadows but it still doesn't supports casting shadows. If you look at the torch on the right it allmost looks like it's floathing right in front of the wall. But hey it would be nice but who cares, it looks veyr very very nice! ^_^
Slaiv
That article has renewed my faith in Bethesda, except for one bit that makes me still a bit iffy: Bethesda is bringing the next game in the series to the next generation of PCs and consoles. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is being designed around the Xbox 2. I don't like the sound of that.....
suzerain
They still have to do the Call of Cthulhu and Fallout III. Call of Cthulu. we need only wait untill the stars are right for this to rise from it's slumber and shamble out of the the sea. at least we're only looking at astronomical ages then... Suz.who's been waiting for Call of Cthulu for a full 3 years now...
Dark0ne
And Fallout 3 won't be here before Oblivion. Simply said.
Zonko
Just... wow.o.O Horses... :) I know why they weren't in Morrowind, (well 2 reasons, because they would be hard to support, as well as the dunmer eating them) but whilst I was hoping for them, it still excites the pants off me.
