"Deployment Necesarry", even immediately after deploying mods

The newest version of Vortex is stuck on "deployment necessary". The popup telling you to deploy keeps reappearing, even after hitting the "deploy" button multiple times.

 

Dismiss the dialogue after deploying, try to start a game (Skyrim in this case) and it will tell you "deployment is pending". Hitting "skip" or "deploy" will launch the game, but this dialogue will show up every time you try and actually play.

 

Edit: The "deployment necessary" dialogue also pops up when trying to launch any tool such as the Creation Kit or Bodyslide.

2. Yes. Is this the issue from the previous build where changing profiles would make FNIS Data go wonky, and I'd have to delete all versions of that and rerun FNIS (by redeploying)?

Hmm, so yes, does appear to be FNIS related. It's stopped doing it.

Please can you include the steps you took to stop it in your report too? I've seen a few reports of this intermittently but have yet to replicate it.

I didn't do anything to stop it. It stopped on its own. And now it's doing it again. While not game breaking it's incredibly annoying. How do I downgrade to the previous version without losing my mod lists or profiles?

i got the same problem , all i have installed, is faster hdt, xp32, racemenu, cbbe (3bbb) bodyslide ,cbbe, and fnis xxl, , its a new build, im just starting , threw it all in , every thing works ok, but all i get is deployment neccessary, , you click deploy , and ping it pops up again, , then again, prev versions didnt do this :)

Yeah, did that. Now how do I downgrade to the previous version please?

I believe this will be fixed in 1.5.1 (you'll need to be on the Beta branch to get it when it drops though!)
