Peregrine
Is this a debate over whether it can be done, or a debate over should it be done? A debate over whether it can be done. A laggy two player deathmatch where the computer takes over the other player to actually fight, no conversation is possible, no quests are possible, no NPC interaction is possible, and in short form, none of the features that define Morrowind are possible is NOT Morrowind. covenant2
Just as everone else said you could be ready to kill something and then lag kicks in and a cliff racer appears out of no where and kills you. Just as everyone else said THERE WILL BE TOO MUCH LAG!!!!!!

NinjaSalad
I know what you mean, one minute you fighting then it lags, then your dead lol
Slaiv
There's going to be lag in any online game, unless the server is incredibly fast and a dedicated one at that. But for a game that had its multiplayer component completely taken out..... *Shudders*
Dark0ne
Wait until its fully released before you start bashing it folks. Doesn't sound like anyone here has actually tried it for themselves. All that we can hope for is that it isn't as laggy as...*shudders*...Halo on the PC.
Slaiv
*Shudders even more.* That's true, none of us [to my knowledge] have tried it, but, referring to the descriptions, it sounds very unstable to me.
NinjaSalad
I have played Tonnes of on-line games like CS Halflife, Ultima online, Tribes and many more, I thinks if their ever going to pull off an online Morrowind it would take 10 years just for the tecnology and a NEW type of inernet come out (you know it's coming), which would have to be compairable to "Lan" but over the internet. And if they Do pull it off, I will convert to the new religon; BETHESDA THE ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!!

No, what it would take is making the multiplayer code part of the game engine from the beginning, not a barely functional third party addition. Morrowind could easily work as a multiplayer game (in techinical terms) If Bethesda wanted it to.
