[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [23.1][0028]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

The GoldQueen had robots, and some nonhuman looking androids, escort the LyonsPride Squad to a large chamber with many, useful, resources including open alcoves and doored antechambers. Once humans had lived, and worked, there during long shifts. That was during the last decade of WW3 leading up to Doomsday. Those there had been practical serving humans; that is such as safety inspectors, caretakers, artisans and remoterobot supervisors. Yet some of them had been doing odd jobs such as making a range of toys using a specialised workshop-workroom arrangement; the toys were often aimed at very small, or oversized, young children.

GoldQueen: "The permababies, both small and quite large, are safe in some kind of sanctuary where another entity protects them very well. One provides them with as much resources as one can spare and in turn I get electricity to supplement the supply from my own fusion reactor generators."

Sarah smiled as she deepsensed that the GoldQueen was hiding something or perhaps even more than one thing. "Change of subjects, is there any form of special transportation that could bring people from CitadelDC to here; that is safely experimental or more standardised."

GoldQueen: "A highly classified, secure, underground monorail network linked various government, corporate and other VIP centres including this place, the WhiteHouse, the WhiteCastle, Fort Washington, GovVaultDC and... below CitadelDC that is GovVault001. There is another supercomputer netsystem running that GovVault that is partly like a TechVault and partly like a traditional government bunker complex. During the Splintering, when powerful US Factions became alienated from each other, the USFG (US Federal Government) decided to take over the construction of its own type vaults as it no longer trusted the TechCorps."

Sarah nodded. "The Splintering effected nationstates across the world including the USA, its NATO allies, its enemies of the NewSoviets along with multiple others. Only a few seemed immune from it and others were already so damaged it made no difference to them. Except, just how real was it?"

GoldQueen: "As in whispers of the Great Conspiracy that was often called the Illuminati Conspiracy as linked with not only secret governments inside governments, corporate alliances, the Disney Theme Parks as facades covering huge, hidden, bunkerplexes and the NukaCola Influence along with so much else. One checked on such ideas, during periods of boredom when one faced only everyday duties, and found that while there might have been a number of smaller conspiracies, proof of one great one was lacking."

Sarah nodded. "Unless those conspiracies, better known of, were diversions from the big ones along with counter conspiracies and alternate conspiracies. More data is needed but, more importantly, core data and break throughs to find the real truth buried inside so much complexity. The SteelOrderhood has been investigating the Predoomsday Conspiracies for centuries as have a few of our allies. The SteelBrotherhood dismissed such investigations as a waste of time and energy."

Then the Sentinel nodded. "Time to take care of physical needs, including a shower and a sleep. The whole squad needs the same."

So ended that conversation!

Note: In last Post briefly got matters wrong by writing down WW4, meaning World War Four, when I should have written WW3 or World War Three. WW4 is yet to come!

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [24.1][0029]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

At the CitadelDC the need to fulfill everyday demands meant that any attempt to plunge deeper down, the fortress, was long delayed. The discovery of three giant LibertyPrime humanoid robots was of great excitement to at least a small group of scientific Sages. CitadelAIN continued to be of much assistance to the SteelOrderhood. PrimeElder Owen Lyons was keen to send aid to Sentinel Sarah Lyons but it was proving to be more difficult than he had first estimated it would be; the changes, to LyonsPride, continued.

Captain Casper Friendly led his Stormghosts through a difficult way often needing back tracking, radical changes of course and delays to remove certain obstacles. All of it was hard going underground where survivors had made connections so as to better move around. They managed to find enough resources to preserve the preserved rations that they took with them including coffee.

UncleLeo's Sanctuary continued to expand and to become more sophisticated as more refugees arrived. The LittleFateMan continued to help, in his own special way, including with Lilly! The Rainbowlord quietly supported both UncleLeo and the LittleFateMan.

The Five Domains went through a time of relative prosperity, and peace, thanks to the LittleFateWoman. Newcomers arrived in a trickle of small groups, bringing with them animals and other useful resources.

Max MadMax arrived at the border of DC, along with the Family MadMax, in three all wheel drive, armoured, rally cars; the turbine-electric systems allowed them to move very quietly when that was needed.

In TechVault101 Jasmine continued to lead the Exterminators and gained four more .22LR bolt-action rifles along with a large amount of ammo, sets of security body-armour and other tech devices. The overseers wanted audio-video records made of the exotic threat while ordering the Exterminators not to speak to anybody else, but Professor James Johnson, about what was going on.

The LittleFateBoy kept protecting, serving, gifted failures of radraiders and their companions.

All across DC, including Washington City proper, life went on mostly as it had done for centuries.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [25.1][0030]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

Sarah's people had, it seemed, been to one of the most controversial parts, of the GoldHive, already and most of the great, underground, complex was far more regular in its ways. The GoldQueen confessed that she had helped guide the LyonsPriders to that big chamber, with the large curving counter, knowing that they would encounter much that would interest them.

The NecroQueen was being quiet as was the mad GoldDuke who served her in his own insane fashion; or at least they were not hassling the area controlled by the GoldQueen and served by the GoldKing in a more general fashion.

A specialised aspect, of the GoldQueen, the GoldSage assisted the LyonsPriders to go through all the information that they had gained since just before entering the GoldHive. The GoldSage was designed to work with humans doing research and was happy enough, in its own way, to be doing so again. Yet the problem was soon arising of limited data containing far too many gaps and begging more questions than it answered.

Then came a breakthrough of finding a secret speed elevator that could take them down to the highly classified monorail tunnel network.

It was at this time that Sarah began to have a sense that 'something' was not quite 'right' about the GoldQueen and that it was very much linked to the existence of the NecroQueen but what else?

She went over data again but this time without the help of the GoldSage that might have unintentionally misdirected her. Amongst datafiles that it had provided the LyonsPride, was almost slipped accidentally, amongst quite different oriented data, one about the true nature of the Hive AIs. They were based on genetically engineered human brains along with more conventional, advanced, supercomputers. Now she 'knew' how there could exist the NecroQueen of some kind of undeath status.

The GoldQueen spoke reluctantly. "I did have 200 brains, half fully active and half semiactive, being in five secured, isolated, centres of 40 brains each. Half of those were active and the others semiactive being roles that were switched over so that all could take turns resting. It still functions that way with all but 40 of the brains that are now either undead or dead; I suspect that about half have died and may have even managed to find a way to commit suicide."

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [25.2][0031]

GoldQueen: "A powerful, malignant, undead entity is in control of a faction of less powerful such creatures, zombies, mind enslaved thralls of humans and traitor humans of familiars. Scientific fools managed to open a gateway to the dimensional realms of undeath and then there was much fighting, confusion and the GoldHive was sealed off from outside. That may have changed but then Doomsday took place so none have come, from the outside, until you showed up; or at least none that I know of."

Sarah smiled as if to herself. "Another is out there, has been helping you, and it is very powerful in its own way!"

The LittleFateGirl was suddenly there almost as if she had always been there. "We serve LittleFateFamily serve Celestials that in turn serve higher ones. We can only help in some ways, at some times, under certain conditions in mortal realms." She wore old fashioned farm type overalls, a Tshirt and gumboots along with a straw hat on her head. "Now to help as it is now the time, and place, to do so!"

There was a flash of golden, yellow, light through out the chamber and beyond it. It went through the GoldHive! When the LyonsPriders awoke much had changed, of and in the GoldHive but not everything for it seemed that was another 'hive' inside the 'hive'.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [26.1][0032]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

The LittleFateBoy teleported to Uncle Leo's Sanctuary, taking the failed radraiders with him along with a fair few others including reformed, former, radraiders. There he was met by the LittleFateMan, Uncle Leo and the Rainbowlord there.

The LittleFateWoman continued to care for the Five Realms as more people joined them while bringing much with them including animals and plants.

At the CitadelDC a large stockpile, of mixed value resources, was found in eight great, autorobotic, storage chambers. Everything would be put to good use, somehow, for the SteelOrderhood was very well skilled and experienced in doing just that from what ever became handy.

Captain Casper Friendly, and his Stormghosts, continued to 'ghost' towards WashingtonDC.

A swarm of superhuman Gary Clones were encountered not far from Paradise Falls; overconfident MercSyndicateDC Mercenaries, body-armoured and heavily armed, were taken by surprise by the overly fast, agile, self healing and hard to damage berserkers. With heavy losses they barely managed to drive off the superclones though they did slaughter over half of them. To their surprise the dead Garys dissolved away except for a small amount of dust that then blew away; their gear, such as vaultsuits and crude weapons of pipes, remained behind including just a couple of non standard pipboys and one rusty survival knife.

Jasmine Johnson, in TechVault101, made some surprising discoveries of which not all were pleasant ones.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [27.1][0033]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

The now cured GoldDuke returned to the service of the GoldQueen. There was now a great amount of restored, rejuvenated, resources available including the information that the GoldDuke provided about the NecroQueen. The human survivors were changed and formed a positive treaty with the GoldQueen to the advantage of both sides.

A teleportation hub, of teleportation chambers, was now active with more LyonsPriders, newly created as such, arriving from the CitadelDC. Information, and some specialised resources, was sent the other way. Some of that data was about the 'secrets of the CitadelDC'.

A series of well secured, hidden, subzones were now revealed on new maps. In Doomsday state of the art deepsleepcapsules were found a XFISA Taskforce: that is of XFiles Investigations Security Agency. There were humans, animals, and other lifeforms of which some were most exotic. With them were androids, robots and other gear including spare equipment-supplies. Yet there were others, with them, that were not of the XFISA including those who had served in the GoldHive's different factions; most of those factions did not exist anymore, at least not in the hive itself; if was questionable if they did so outside of it.

Even as the careful awakening process began, it would go in stages, Sarah Lyons walked amongst the deepsleepcapsules and the machinery that serve-supported them.

The brains, of the GoldQueen, were fully restored as in both the active and reserves. The NecroQueen could have been destroyed by such changes but Sarah was not the only one who thought it unwise to jump to conclusions, at least not with out more evidence that 'she' was gone.

The GoldQueen, and GoldKing, were now far more efficient in their workings. Long inactive, specialised, subprograms of the GoldQueen were becoming busy; they were the GoldArtisan, GoldGuard , GoldArchivist, GoldCaretaker and a few more including the odd GoldMistress.

There was still the Hive inside the GoldHive, a mysterious one that the GoldQueen now stated, openly, could be the NecroHive of the NecroQueen; she could do so for she was rejuvenated, regenerated, and even upgraded to some extent. She also stated that NecroHive was most likely the foolishly opened gateway that let in undead denizens, and undeathly influences, from a realm where such was natural. Question was, was the powerful, undead, entity the NecroQueen or one of more than one threat?

You might want to go over the previous post again as it is linked to this one.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [27.2][0034]

Sarah Lyons walked, with the LittleFateGirl, past where people were being slowly steadily safely woken from deepsleepcapsules. She spoke. "So the transformation secured the GoldHive from the NecroHive but conversely did the same for the NecroHive against the GoldHive."

The LittleFateGirl was dressed in a pretty frock and was holding in one hand a parasol and the other a small, woven, picnic basket by its handles.

The celestial entity nodded just a little. "Such is a side effect of celestial intervention. The undead forces are trapped inside the NecroHive but they are also far safer from any outside attempt to destroy them. There are no life forces, inside the NecroHive to feed them, except that they are sustained by undeathly energies trickling through the semiactively open gateway to their home realms. They are trapped but are surviving if not thriving. We, the LittleFateFamily, have begun to negotiate with them; we will open the gateway more and they can depart before we flash clean the NecroHive, changing it into a far more typical hive complex. Then you, as an expanded group, can investigate it and the secrets hidden there, at least some of which are very disturbing; whether oneself goes with you has yet to be decided. You have fundamentally begun to change, to remember what you really are and why you were born as Sarah Lyons."

The LittleFateGirl had the picnic basket float down to the floor, after releasing it. With a soft shimmering it expanded forwards, upwards, outwards and changed shape. It was still shaped like a picnic basket but in its sides were woven doors. After it was quite large, the object stopped growing.

She spoke. "Have people go into that PicnicHold, that is bigger inside than out in mortal terms, in small groups to complete their transformations more comfortably; this includes you! Time passes faster inside that place, than outside, so those who enter it could carry out useful tasks but must sleep enough according to the faster cycles there. I will return when, where, it is necessary to do so!"

Then the LittleFateGirl was gone almost as if she had never been there.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [28.1][0035]

The LittleFateObserver was active, was observing but not observed except by a very few!

Hellsdemons Bikies moved with surprising quietness on-in their enclosed atomic hog bikes that were massive for motorbikes. They were coming southwards, with special designed trailers, families, pets and goods. Despite their name, as bikies, they had some trikes that carried more people, or goods, in their enclosed backs. The motortrikes pulled bigger trailers. Some of the bikes, and trikes, were fighting machines now guarding the rest of the convoy though the others were more lightly armed and armoured. They were but part of a growing flow of refugees retreating from both the EagleEnclavers and others that they were being chased southwards by the EagleEnclavers.

The elite LawRegulators were meant to deal with 'special crimes' such as slavery, cannibalism, and radraiders but now they were trying also to deal with the increasing flood from the north. Most of the refugees were typical settlers, nomads and a few others of lesser threat that the LawRegulators might end up helping but there were gangers, gangsters, bikies, supermutants, and other greater threats; that was even before the EagleEnclavers might arrive.

Chief LawRegulator JackOman was placed in charge of a taskforce that was to focus on trying to find solutions to the problem of the refugees coming from the north.

The MadMax Family settled down in the settlement of Floodgate High that was situated close to a heavily damaged, but still part functioning, hydro electric dam. They were soon working well with the settlers there who had managed to find a way to obtain electric power from a backup aspect of the dam. Part of the settlement was on, and in, the dam.

UncleLeo's SanctuaryDC, as now named, was expanding and otherwise developing. The same was true of the Five Domains and some other locations as refugees, from the north, joined them. The race was on to prepare for the growing threats coming from the north except that far too many, in DC, lacked the resources to do so as they struggled just to survive. Nor were the DC Factions very well organised or united in any real fashion, many being enemies of others.

Captain Casper Friendly led the Stormghosts into a most odd type of trap!

Jasmine Johnson found a brown coloured envelope under her pillow. She found in it a note stating that her mother was not dead, had actually survived giving birth to Jasmine. Jasmine also had two identical triplet sisters being Jessica and Jayleen. Then she began to remember her 'other life' that existed when she slept and dreamed in a special way.

The note also stated that her father, James Johnson, was carrying out secret, illegal, experiments on radroaches causing Jasmine to fear that he might be part of the trouble of the growing radroach troubles in her TechVault.

The note also held some other interesting, possibly useful, bits of data.

[1] SteelOrderhood First Arrives in Washington DC [28.2][0036]

After the heavy losses, by the MercSyndicateDC at the hands of a swarm of Garys, word spread about the possible threat of the original group escapees and even others. The SyndicatesDC Council of Nine held an emergency meeting in a top secret location and it was decided to hire the super villains, the Menaceables, to deal with the Garys Threat. That faction was the traditional enemy of the super heroic Unstoppables.

Word came south that the EagleEnclavers did not invade the New British Commonwealth despite that it was widely expected that they would do so. They did garrison newly established bases, and outposts, in a buffer zone facing that troubled nationstate. There was much speculation to why the EagleEnclavers had done what they did and had not done what most assumed that they would do, that is if they thought about it at all.

The Mechanicist's robots fought the Antagonizer's giant radants outside of the bustling, fortified, trade settlement of Canterbury Commons; the powerful trading families there did not appreciate the threat that this promised to their trade caravan, and convoy, traffic. Smaller caravans moved across country, away from viable roads, and convoys did so on viable roads including highways.

Across the Pontiac River from RivetCity, the maritime museum based settlement, the RepublicDC began to stir as it prepared to face various threats facing it. The republic was based largely on surviving National Guard, and Defence Force, units with a few other factions also being involved. It was based largely underground in bunkers, a subway network, utility networks and other locations.

First, large, parachute crates drifted down from high altitude above bringing with them general equipment-supplies for any who gained access to the crates of green and white stripes; the parachutes bore the same type pattern. That first wave was of only a thousand in number but both the crates and parachutes were very large. Observers stated that the crates seemed to move oddly at times in that they went against the wind..

At the Galaxy Broadcasting Tower, 3Dog and his people were gaining so many interesting, important seeming, reports that they were having trouble deciding what to inform the Wastelanders about.
