KateHanami Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 if I wanted to download each mod individually, I wouldn't need a collection made by someone else, I can browse them myself, thank youof this is a push for premium, it's a dick move
showler Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Counter-point. You don't understand what all the benefits of a Collection are.
JimboUK Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 By downloading all the mods at once the user is skipping the pages with the ads on, the ads that pay for the site, it's fine if premium members do that because they've paid to not see ads, regular members haven't and this site costs a lot of money to run.

Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted March 2, 2022 Community Manager Posted March 2, 2022 We've answered this at length in the FAQ, you can find it here: https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/FAQ#what-are-the-benefits-to-using-collections-for-freepremium-users That question and the one below it cover most points. People often overlook that there's a lot more to setting up a list of mods than just the downloads. Vortex automates the installation, imports conflict rules, imports load order metadata and applies settings tweaks (this varies from one game to the next, it depends what Vortex can do). Yes, it's more convenient for Premium users when downloading but outside of that the experience is the same.
