Shadeybladey
I finally got two new SSDs and installed Windows 10! So, can I have both editions of Skyrim installed? Also, I'd like them to be installed in C:\SLE and C:\SSE, if that's possible, rather than inside the C:\Steam\steamapps directory. Will this work? Cheers! showler
You can't put them outside a Steam Library. Even if you could, it would get you red flagged on this site as a possible pirate. Installing them both is no problem though. They are completely separate games.
Shadeybladey
OK, so I freshly installed Steam in C:\Steam rather than C:\Programs, so I can install both versions in there? Cheers! :D
showler
Yeah, they'll automatically make separate folders.
Shadeybladey
OK, thanks. I'm doing SLE at the moment. But it's INCREDIBLY slow! It says it can't "sync" some "Cloud" with my machine. Why can't it just download the damn thing? I spent this afternoon turning off all that snoopy twaddle. I don't need it or want it. *I* control what happens on my PC, I will *never* let some "app" decide what "controls" my "device". I wonder if I have a backed up save of my last Skyrim install? I've not downloaded it since 2012... I have all the mods...
Shadeybladey
I turned off "cloud sync" now. Apparently, there's 50 MB of data from my computer up in some cloud somewhere!
