Other: none of the above.

I dislike both of them and don't want either of them anywhere near my government. It's an unfortunate "lesser of two evils" vote this year. Or more likely, since my state hasn't let a democrat win in over 30 years, no vote for president since I can't stand the thought of voting for either.

Why can't we just not have a president for a few years?

Are you kidding me? The majority of this forum is edging on bleeding heart and is either not holding permanent residence in the United States or not of the voting age.

Worst. Poll. Ever.

Back off MB and take some Prozac.

Don't like it...don't post in it.

As a local editorial has said [i'm paraphrasing]:

"Although we support Democrats, we are endorsing Bush, on the basis that Kerry is not so much running to become President; rather, he is running just to oppose Bush."

Why can't we just not have a president for a few years?

I'll take charge until a suitable one can be found.

Kerry would legalize prostatution and pot if it would get him 2 more votes.

Your point? Both of them should be legal.

Pot is a harmless drug, far more so than alcohol or especially tobacco. The only reason it's illegal and the other two aren't is because it doesn't have a massive industry and equally massive campaign contributions to buy its legality. The amount of effort wasted making it illegal is far out of proportion to the harm it causes. Effort that would be far better spent on crimes that actually hurt people.

Prostitution should be legal as well, for similar reasons. The only "harm" is to the people who can't stand the thought of other people doing something they consider immoral (and therefore it has to be banned, to protect their precious morals). Making it legal and regulating it like any other business makes far more sense.
