LE im sick and tired... this should be done

ive been all over the internet trying to find this ONE mod.

 

i think a mod that will let you (as a theif) to walk up to anyone on the road and say ''hey you there hand me all youre valuebles and i wont gut you like a horker''

and sometimes the ''enemy'' will try to escape or sometimes fight or just give up.

i think this mod should be made thank you for reading.

if you agree with me write it in the comments im really intrested to know if people think this is a good idea.

i didnt mean im sick of modders cause im clearly not ive been playing skyrim for about 3 years now... not straight but with stops.

ive thought about trying to mod myself but ill come true and clear... im so lazy i cant do anything myself and the only reason im posting here is not for my own will though i would love to see the mods i think of but because i think i might come up with a great idea so any modder that isnt me (lazy as a cow) which im pretty sure there isnt will be interested in making.

i will never in my life complain about skyrim modding fora simple reason... i admire it.

if you think im just kissing ass thats fine by me but im just saying my opinion.

It's always a good idea to separate your personal feelings from any public post you make. This is not YouTube and you CAN get banned for insulting forum members, which includes Admin, Moderators and Mod Authors.

 

So I'd suggest you take what Dark0ne said as a friendly, informal verbal warning and think before you post in future, before you get a real warning strike against you.

 

And maybe change the Title.

 

You may well be "Sick and Tired" of searching for so long and not finding it, but there's no need to say that in the title.

 

It could look as if you are "Sick and Tired that no mod authors have bothered to make it already", which is not going to endear you to anyone clever enough to make it.

 

Incidentally, what you are asking for would require changing most of the non-quest dialogue for every random encounter, which is no small task.

You were mad (or as you said, "sick and tired") because modders didn't make a mod that obviously suits nobody else but you, that much is plainly obvious. If other people wanted something like that, this section would have at least a few threads with the same request, or it would already be made.

 

If no one else is willing to make it, and it appears so since a mod like that doesn't seem to exist (I can understand why, takes a lot of scripting and dialog work), then you might as well make it yourself.

I don't agree at all.

 

His first line after the title was

So it is clear he's in a bad mood because he has spent ages searching and could not find it.

 

But the Internet being the Internet, and with the number of non-native English speakers that there are (as well as people habitually looking for a fight), someone is bound to misinterpret his intent and meaning.

 

Which is why it is a good idea to cool off before you post anything, then read it again and make it as neutral and as polite as possible.

first im very sorry and do not want to get somone mad.

second as you can see im quite new to the forums and i guess this is quite embarresing but i dont know how to change the title :blush:

third, werne listen im not here demanding people to listen to me or even enter this theard not at all. but as exiceted (wow) as i am that this is getting so much attention (for the wrong reasons though) you cant really say that no one wants this mod cause ive posted it today and i can still see other threads that were created months and months ago and still get attention.

if this idea isnt going to work im fine with that cause its not important to me so much that ill complain about modders or anyone.

i just think this theard needs a few more days and if it doesnt work out its not so bad.

Two things:

 

First, (off-topic), like holy crap. I had the forums up for an hour and then hit refresh and this thread came up with 9 comments.

 

Second, although it would be fun to role-play as a mugger/highwayman robbing people, from my experience with the CK and GECK, making a mod like this would take a certain amount of work; dialogue would have to be added, scripting would have to be done, and unless the dialogue was to be added to specific characters, everyone in the game would be to be mugged, which wouldn't make much sense. Would still be a cool mod, though.
