Vortex automatically undoing my light plugins

Hello all,

Im working on a Fallout 4 Load order and after days of work I updated Vortex and now it automatically changed my light plugins back to "not light", exceeding my plugin limit. Now everytime I start manually referting them back to "light" Vortex keeps automatically undoing them.

Im pretty new to modding and perhaps is just a setting problem but I dont know what to do.

Hopefully someone here has the solution.

Thx in advance!

+1 having the same issue, already sent a bug report using the Vortex option.

AFAIK it doesn't actually revert the .esl files back to .esp so it should be safe to run using the F4SE launcher directly.

It does trigger the warning of going over the .esp limit if you try to download something new.

Also, two things:

!) Report suspected bugs through Vortex

2) Users sensitive to pain should use the standard build. Leave the Beta build to our masochists. Choose in Settings.

Yeah it seems like it's a beta issue, I reverted to the last "stable" build (i think is 1.5.13) and the issue went away and all the light plugins are showing correctly

I started using a Vortex beta when the alpha test for Collections began. At that time Collections would not work with the stable version. Then I had a weird problem with Vortex beta a couple of months back and downgraded to stable. Another user told me he was using Collections with stable no problem. So far, so good for me too.

When the Vortex devs say "beta" they really mean it.

We've just pushed a new beta (1.12.0-beta.2) to fix this which Vortex should auto-download next time it loads.

Some context for this fix - we enhanced our plugin parser to detect medium plugins which are currently only available for Starfield - unfortunately the plugin format is quite different between SF and the older games (which use a completely different location for the light flag). We thought we could just use the header version to decide where the light flag is located, but that didn't work as planned as some plugins appear to have the same header version as Starfield. The good news is - your plugins are still light even if Vortex was complaining about them being regular - it was mostly a UI issue but unfortunately it triggered a set of tests we have in place which may have hindered some mod setups.

Thank you for beta testing and let us know if you find anything else!
