I can't download Fallout 4 from play disc.

I decided to completely uninstall Fallout 4 because I was afraid I had some ghost mods that were taking up space, and causing conflicts with other mods. So I did the uninstall thing, cleared the memory cache, cleared the local saved games, cleared the blue ray persistent cache. Did a hard reset.

NOW I CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE GAME. I start the download and everything seems fine right until I get to the 22% mark. Then the upload from the disc stops dead in it tracks and my screen tells my the download has paused. Now initially I thought if I hung around long enough the download would resume, but that isn't the case the download does not resume, it's just stopped at 22%. Is this a hard ware issue, or a soft ware issue.

All of the add ons downloaded fine, but the main game will not download.

Look I love Skyrim as much as the next guy or girl, but I can't run around Skyrim forever. Help.

Probably won't find much help here. Very, very heavily PC oriented in these forums.

Might find some advice here ( https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/119-other-systems/ ), but you're probably better off contacting Microsoft's Xbox support to see if there is something you can kick to make it work.

Of course, you could always try the old "carefully cleaning the disc" thing first, if you haven't already done that.

Too bad there's nothing to blow on.

PS4's have been known to have this issue as well. Most particularly with DLC downloads. ( don't remember which one, possibly Fall Harbor, that yucks up during download.) I just remember having to try repeatedly, to get the DL to complete.

It's a server issue.

My recommendation is to try reddit, or Bethesda.net to see if there are any solutions to this. Those sites deal a lot more with the gamedecks than Nexus, which is primarily PC oriented.

I do know that there are disimilarities between the two decks. But at least on the PS4, when it would happen sometimes I had to turn it off, unplug the power from the console, let it set for enough time to completely power down (usually 15 seconds is good) and then plug it back in and try again. Again, I dunno if Xbox behaves the same way or not.
