Need help locating an asset for the Red Rocket Station

I've been using BAE and Nifskope to try to find part of the smaller Red Rocket Station, but can't locate it.

The part in question is the roof that covers the pumps, shown in the attached pic. I've tried numerous words in search but can't find it. I've searched both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 assets. It's got to be in there somewhere.

Heyas MH.

I don't know the direct answer to your question.

But I know of an ingame tool that will help you to find it! :D

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26582

Better Console F4SE. When you open up the console, and click on an item or NPC, it will show a small gump with details about item/npc. Including, but not limited to, their ID number and BaseID number. Both of which, could help you find the object that you are looking for, in the CK.

I'd used the mod for about a year or so (when I was playing) and it's a tremendous help. Highly recommend.

I'd also recommend using this mod, when you're wanting that kind of info:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43560

Highlight Console Reference. Trying to get a good, accurate click on something with the console open, can get tedious at times. And since this could be an object that is actually bigger than it looks like it might be, using this, will highlight were you click, so that you are Sure that you've got the proper object clicked.

I do hope this helps!

I have searched every Static Item with the prefix RedRExt in the base game, all DLC and the Unofficial Patch. I can report that this roof piece (and associated supports and curb) does not exist in Fallout 4.

Knowing well the associated exposure, I assume the image you supplied is from concept art, and not an actual screen shot.

MH - Scythe is saying that he believes that pic is not actual game footage. That it was an image created to represent game footage.

Tho the wiki page does include a map marker, so theoretically, since you own 76 you could try to reach said coordinates. However, since 76 is not moddable, you couldnt use the console to get the ID

And

Since it IS 76, you can't direct port assets from that, to FO4 and share them. If you did so, it would have to be for your own private use only. Or completely create a "likeness" of the object, on your own.

I'll have to just find it in-game and take screenshots then. I need to see more detail on the object, like the top of the roof etc.

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry, I should have clarified that I had looked through both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 files with BAE and Nifskope and couldn't find it.

It's from Fallout 76, in-game. A coworker made some screenshots, but they aren't very helpful. I need to try to find the NIF asset so I can open it up and take a look at it, but can't find it at all using BAE.
