CountFuzzball
Which version of FO3Edit is the version without support for Skyrim, that I've seen mentioned before?
BlackRampage
Most likely the 3-0-15 experimental version. All newer version were uploaded after Tes5Edit was made.
Arthmoor
Why would you want an old version though? A lot of fixes for Oblivion, FO3, and FNV have been done along the way too.
CountFuzzball
Why would you want an old version though? A lot of fixes for Oblivion, FO3, and FNV have been done along the way too. From what I read on these forums a few months ago (I recall reading some comments by Purr4Me), newer versions of FO3Edit had support (rightly or wrongly) for the Papyrus scripting engine in Skyrim and somehow, Papyrus related data was being saved in fallout 3 .esp files edited with FO3Edit, causing all kinds of unpleasantness (CTDs, filling esp files with extra garbage data). Ranius7
God.. I made huge mods for myself with hundreds of new npc, lot of dialogues, weapons, armor, quests, you name it. I love FO3Edit and I use it very often. Now I'm very concerned. Any idea where I could find the 3-0-15 experimental version (Tes5 Free)? It's not listed in the download section anymore. Why in the hell they messed up such a great program for FO3 with Skyrim...
bethjunkie
^ It's listed under Old Versions, about halfway down the list.http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/637/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D637&pUp=

luthienanarion
somehow, Papyrus related data was being saved in fallout 3 .esp files edited with FO3Edit, causing all kinds of unpleasantness (CTDs, filling esp files with extra garbage data).correct[citation needed] That's quite an outlandish claim, and my own very extensive use of the program evinces otherwise. God.. I made huge mods for myself with hundreds of new npc, lot of dialogues, weapons, armor, quests, you name it. I love FO3Edit and I use it very often. Now I'm very concerned. Why in the hell they messed up such a great program for FO3 with Skyrim... :down:Actually, they "messed" up a great program for Oblivion with FO3. Then FNV. Then Skyrim. TES4Edit, TES5Edit, FO3Edit, and FNVEdit are all the exact same program with a renamed executable. If you're suffering from paranoid delusions, the last version of *Edit before Skyrim was 3.0.21. You can find it here.
Purr4me
No, Citation Not required. History here, posted by Millions already sited. Beth-soft forums noted by many there also note, later version Break fallout 3. luthienanarionIf this is a direct inquiry to me? you need to take this up with the authors of said software and all the others that have filed and posted the issues inherent to this fact. Attacking me? is not the right thing to do. I do not keep track of all the records here ,the nexus does and so does Google search. Those of us, that know how to read and understand how to use the program will have no problems, those that DO NOT read things have these problems with later versions. Now. That is a situation. Care to teach all that use the program Not to install the wrong data? the world is at your beckoning. but, do not call me out, I'll have no part in it. It has not anything to do with constructiveness. Example if you wish: fo3edit 3.0.15 can not edit dialogs. fo3edit 3.0.31 can edit dialogs. and in doing so, change the directions and (scrims) to them. world space triggers are effected by that process. This include opisite to parent programing. The geck will not save a said made edited mod with the later versions as data , not used in fallout 3 game structure is now Enabled by the new program if you do not shut off these things PRIOR to editing.this brings you back to those that do not read things and we have what you posted here. Been there done that. millions of different setups around the world, your lucky...so far. does the next person have that same luck? or system ? or knowledge? EDIT #2:(Scrims) have also seen extensive use in theater where they are often used for special effects. In theater a scrim can refer to any such thin screen and are made out of a wide variety of substances. The advantage of scrims is that with certain they can appear opaque to the audience until a quick change in stage lighting makes them almost fully transparent. "Oh my, Olga, you have some nice scrims at the window." LOL kinda silly to think a thing is fool proof. Which this program is not. Wrybash threads both here and bethsoft. Rez threads. TES5 Edit threads. have fun "reading". Citation Given. Done. EDIT: Just for kicks and Giggles, what do you suppose will happen next with this mess? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/904275-could-somebody-help-me-with-my-load-order/page-2&do=findComment&comment=8811401kitty.
