alex2avs
May I suggest the following for the market :<Screenshots taken from Venetica>How about a colloseum-like market ? You said that you want it to be opened only in special days. Why not close it ?http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq254/alex2avs/th_Venetica2010-02-2321-10-33-89.jpgSome guards :http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq254/alex2avs/th_Venetica2010-02-2321-12-03-48.jpgA door in front of each access path , would close the market in the other days, how that sounds ?http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq254/alex2avs/th_Venetica2010-02-2321-12-37-98.jpg Then , in the market days , the doors are open (you could make them static , in two instances , closed and opened) , a script makes the seller-npcs go to their "shops" . some more guards inside the market might add more realism too . Slawter500
Hmm. Well I do like the idea of their being a place where things are stored during the week. And it looks excellent. But I kind of liked the idea of it being out in the streets. Thoughts everyone?
AmpolX
I can texture alright - -> (1) (2) I haven't really been modding lately. I just been too busy with Real Life Affairs (girlfriend moving in and work breathing down my neck) so I just don't have the time. Plus I did decide to take a large modding break, certain elements I will not discuss have led me to that decision. Also I just want to try new games. I recently picked up Fallout 3 again but my big favorite is the new Alien Versus Predator. But from time I do work on the worldspace. Everything is actually ready (all pre-generated by vanilla regions) but im touching up to remove that "generated feel" from the world. Of course, you guys will have to do the major touch ups like for example, clearing out the grass for cities, making the rivers and shorelines better, etc etc. Once I fix some things, I will post the download along with screens. What do you think of alexs idea? I think it would be good as a warehouse. Hmm Google. When Open Arch kicks off their will be plenty of work. Right now I am not sure. I'll keep you posted. Argomirr
I'll take a look at it soon. As for the market, that does look good. Only thing, would it fit in with the Chorrol style architecture we're going to use?
andy12750
*Sigh* I'm getting this odd aura that nobody likes my ideas anymore (Except for Zprospero, he still answers some of my posts). I suggested the Imperial Events-ideas thing, and that kinda got passed by. I also suggested using my old Guide to OA as a little city-layout thing, and no one really replied...
