Plain Speakin', A Massive Rant about a few things

For those of us who were given home schooling the messages are understood and we can even think of ways to make our lives better.

Betting that if we were to all gather, to build our own community, we would be a minority and likely fade away because we advanced in the sciences. Advanced so much so we might leave this Earth in vehicles non-educated people couldn't even imagine or would know what they were if the saw them parked in a future home parking area.

The new city would be the chance to be a better anthropological group and grow into a society with only people educated as well as we, as you, interested in learning. A dream Walt Disney shared until his death in 1966. The Epcot Center started at Disneyland grew up at Disney World.

Tomorrowland starring George Clooney tells a story which may well have happened, and yet, isn't visible to all who live on Earth today. Or is it just another fantasy that died with Walt Disney, because his brother Roy hasn't got the imaginative mental capacity ton continue to make the journey? Does he?

To continue building it to make it Walt Disney's Reality?

One foot forward, we turn to look back. To look back take one step backward and another step forward to turn around to continue to the future.

The future seems to be happening by the rule, "One step forward and two steps back to the future".

I believe the current situation is no steps forward and 2 steps back, all caused by the wrong people past and present who have/had all the power to decide the fate of the entire planet. It's not getting any better either, when we are forced to vote between piles of poo (voting is compulsory in Australia) and the only choice is to determine which pile of poo stinks the least, I would rather vote with something like "get stuffed the lot of you". Politicians should be forced to take an IQ test and if they fall anything below university level then they're gone, then after the IQ test they should be forced to take an empathy test, because most of the clowns behave like artificial intelligence, not thinking emotional human beings that feel. I was appalled when I learned that Australian politicians were going to a class to teach them how to pretend to feel and display empathy, you don't learn empathy, my dog is empathic, he knows when I'm particularly disturbed, even when I hold it in and show no signs, he just feels it. I have nowhere near the raw IQ of Mr. Tesla or Mr. Einstein, but I am wise and have a high emotional intelligence which is why I feel so much pain at the state of this society.

i'm not sure if the problem of some people (with too much power) is the iq. i think it is more the way they are socialized with the recklessness they show and they need to gain and secure their power, no matter what happens around. putin and trump are prototypes of such people, both in their own way. both extremely egoistic, narcissistic. it is simply a danger and a huge risk to give such people power. and if they gained power they are simply unable to give it away. that makes them so extremely dangerous and unpredictable. they support at first their ego, a chosen circle around them and a "fan base" (as long as needed), regardless of what they tell (mostly covered as alternative facts or censored reality).

extreme arrogance and hate combined with unhealthy egoism and selfoverestimation is their obvious problem. a high iq makes things even worse. the whole world is witness of this act and how a few reckless people rudely gain power to rule the world instead of being the first servants of their countries while the whole world let them do this with the the well known consequences. empathy has no place in this world for these people.

What other kinds of people compete for positions of power? ALL of our politicians reflect those qualities to some extent or other. And the folks that buy and sell them are even worse. Elon Musk being a prime example.

How do my free-thinking friends in the U.S. feel about Trump forcing himself upon y'all in 2024? The U.S. declared him a failure and went with (as previously stated) the pile of poo that stinks less. Why is a failure allowed the chance to fail all over again? It's the same situation my friends in the U.K. nearly had to suffer all over again when Johnson declared he will be having another go, thankfully he must register some degree of shame and decided against it, but I'm afraid this individual does not recognise shame in any way shape or form and the most powerful country on the planet will once again have a narcissistic, egotistical, maniacal clown complete with big red nose and oversized shoes making decisions for several hundred thousand people that deserve better.

Trump is a plague on the Republican party. If he runs in 24, he will essentially be handing the election to the dem candidate, regardless of who it is. (I think even Hilary could win this time around.....) He wasn't too bad in his first term, though, toward the end, he really went off the deep end..... His staff should have kept him off social media. He doesn't play well there. (or anywhere else for that matter) Putting him back in office would be the biggest mistake the american people could make..... I would like to think most of the population is aware of that..... but..... it's that whole 'box of rocks' thing. :D

At this point, it is my firm belief that NEITHER party really has the best interests of the US at heart. They are more interested in pushing their agenda, than doing the business of moving the country forward. We have become far too divided, and I really don't see that changing any time soon. I think what we really need is a complete reset. Boot ALL of them out, and start fresh...... A lot needs to change, but, as it stands, nothing is going to, as the only folks that can actually implement those changes, have a vested interest in NOT changing them.

I thoroughly agree HeyYou, boot the whole lot of them and start fresh. People who have never had to struggle through life at any time, have never had to eat a tin of baked beans for tea or even had to skip eating altogether can't relate to the problems of people that have. Awhile back the stats were that the richest people on the planet have 99% of the wealth while the remaining 1% is distributed to the rest of us, this is appalling and must change. Over the course of my life I have watched everything just get harder for the average person, the tax rate on the average Australian wage is a whopping 32% while some of Australia's richest pay no tax whatsoever, appalling. During the lockdowns in Aus the federal government came up with a scheme titled "jobkeeper" to basically pay peoples wages so they could keep their job, which was taken advantage of by companies that had no need for it, but they took it anyway because they could. The best example was Harvey Norman, who's profit actually increased somehow during lockdowns but received millions of dollars in jobkeeper assistance anyway, it was even bought to light that this happened yet there were no repercussions, again, appalling. The worth of a person is now decided solely by the amount of wealth they have managed to accumulate, this has the opposite effect on me, imagine these people during a real crisis, say a significant sized asteroid strike or a solar flare that destroys the electrical grid, the extremely wealthy would be the first to curl up in a ball and rock back n forth in a fit of tears. These people need to watch Carl Sagan's 'Pale Blue Dot', then be given a basic survival kit and dumped far from civilisation for a time to ram home a solid dose of reality, I'll escort them there myself.

Don't get me started on tax laws...... :) Here in the US, the rich folks can deduct the maintenance costs of their private yacht, jet, plane, whathaveyou..... Can I deduct the cost of maintenance on my car? Nope. And that's just one example of some of the outright stupidity in our government.
