How do I reset the game files to original

I cannot launch Elden Ring from steam only from Vortex, does anyone know how to completely reset the games files so that I can start Elden Ring from Steam instead of Vortex.

Is there a "purge mods" option?

I have already done the purge mod option but I did not have any mods installed for Elden Ring anyway

If you don't have any mods installed, you should probably "stop managing" Elden Ring and then try it.

 

If that doesn't work, get Steam to repair your game installation and it should fix any altered files.
