Deleted88937888User
I have the above and installed this way with win10 Mod Organizer 2-6194-2-4-4-1640622655.exeskse64_2_02_03_gog.7zSkyUI_5_1-3863-5-1.7z GOG AE EditionMod Organizer 2SKSE intro GOG Skyrim AE Launch MO2Add module SKYUISet skyrim launch app to skse If I run it without check boxing SKSE, skyrim ae will launch. If I checkbox it, it will give error 21 (setup for LE edition, but the skyui page says it's for SE edition). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68951/ This lists SKYUI as compatible with AE. Need help. The menus are too large and awkward.
showler
Problem one: The SkyUI version you have is for Skyrim LE, not Skyrim SE/AE. You can tell because the mod id number in the file is 3863 when it should be 12604. You should replace that with the correct version. You don't mention whether you downloaded the GOG/Epic support file for MO2.
Deleted88937888User
I used that patch the first time. Then installed skse again without it. Same effect. https://skse.silverlock.org/ From here... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30379?tab=files Current GOG Anniversary Edition build 2.2.3 (game version 1.6.659) The silverlock is where I downloaded skse from. mod organizer 2https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194 Skyrim Special Edition GOG and Epic Games Support - Mod Organizer 2.4.x This patch is the SE not the AE edition. ?? showler
Once you get the correct SkyUI version it might fix the issue anyway. Start there.
fraquar
Make sure you put that patch in the MO2/Plugins folder - allow overwrite of existing file. You don't install that with the mod manger - you do it by hand. fraquar
To avoid confusion with the GOG version, the game .EXE is the same no matter which version you download.1.6.659.08. Only difference is one only comes with the 4 free CC files, the other with all 72.....
showler
This patch is the SE not the AE edition. ?? As far as MO2 support is concerned, there is no difference between SE and AE.
JediMasterTallyn
So...... I have GoG AE the SKSE for GoG ae I have tired Mo2 NMM and Vortex as far as I can tell SKSE is FUBAR none of them or LOOT will recognize SKSE as installed even with a manual install. and before you ask yes I download the lastest version from Silverlock. Thinking of rolling back to SE and just redownloading my mods at least they still worked before the upgrade.
showler
If you manually install SKSE and it is working then any warnings you get from Vortex or MO2 can be ignored. They are a convenience feature not a requirement.
JediMasterTallyn
The Manual install is where I finally got the "all these mods you downloaded today and yesterday are not compatible error then the game crashed. I am blaming Bethesda.
