JeC
What is your favorite enchantment to putin a weapon, armor, or clothing?
Pob
On a weapon has to be soul trap, its just so good. Any kind of damage is good to (fire, frost absorb health etc) On armour I use stat buffs alot but my two fave have to be Night Eye (save on tourches and makes it a heck of alot easier to see and cheap to enchant) and Water Breathing (means I don't have to lug potions around and worry about air spaces Clothing I use stat buffs, but may switch to resist (very useful) and rate Chameleon alot as well Reflect and Spell Absorption are cool, but very pricey
boohoomoo
I LOVE those Jinkblades. It's so funny to pound your opponent into the ground while he can't move a muscle. It's even funnier to put an area effect paralyze (Super Jink) on a weapon. Damage Strength is quite fun too (esp for arrows). Stat buffs, like Pob said, are always nice. My favorites are Agility and Intelligence. Before I got glass armor, I had some robes enchanted with all the Bound armors. Wonderful stuff, pumped my AC from around 20-25 to 70+. Sanctuary is another wonderful one for armor or clothing, though you'll have to enchant several articles to get it very high. Restore Fatigue really helps out too (don't do Constant Effect on it though, it's too expensive. Get an Extravagant or Exquisite shirt and enchant with 3 or 4 point restore on self for as many seconds as possible. Use a common or lesser soulgem. With a decent Enchant skill (40+) you'll hardly ever run low on charges.).

Pob
Also like resist parlsysis. Very cheap and prevents those annoying things paralyzing you (you can get 40 pts constant effect on an exqusite robe)
Peregrine
I'd go with some kind of damage, on a weapon at least. With the Amulet of Shadows, chameleon is provided already, so no real point to making another item with it. So extra damage is always nice to get better odds of a 1-hit sneak kill. And if that doesn't finish them, quick jabs to cast the spell as fast as possible seem to work pretty well. Of course I wouldn't argue with a constant effect chameleon if it could be done..... Switch
and it can... constant effect 100% can be achieved by enchanting a load of clothing with it... but nothing can see u and u can take anything, kill anything without em fighting back... it just destroys the game really :P personally i usually put fire damage/soul trap on any weapons i enchant... as for armour, well i never used 2 enchant it but i enchanted a full daedric set with fortify heavy armor skill and may i just say it kicks some serious ass. i beat almalexia AND vivec on hard +100 difficulty setting with it! 640+ armour rating :D
Pob
Of course I wouldn't argue with a constant effect chameleon if it could be done..... I'm sure you wouldn't. Exqusite rings do constant effect 24% when enchanted, more if you use the 1-whatever trick.I keep two handy for sneaking around and stuff. Reckon chemeleon is better than Invis. Found that chameleon of 48% meant I could sneak right past a goblin and virtually touch him without him seeing me, same with skeklies and bonelords, not a default option, but I keep them handy for sneaky stuff
Rune
I love poision, it's just so evil. Slam someone with it and it will continue to drain their health while you pummel them with your sword.
