ZoFreX Posted January 12, 2005 Share Posted January 12, 2005 I think it's because the round smileys didn't work on all backgrounds (anti-aliasing didn't work on green). It would have been easier to use partial transparency and internet explorer be damned :D The new smilies have some wierd thing going on in the corners, too. I'm looking for a new set that isn't like the default invision smilies. More like the ones on the official forums.
