the game engine is dumb like that and no modder in the world will fix it...

most I've seen done gameplay-wise is using a clothing slot for a knife model for one hand and a real similar knife in the other

I saw a mod a while ago which allowed you to have other weapons on your back while you had another equipped, I have been looking.

But I don't think I am looking in the right places. If you know what I am talking about please let me know.

Hey, I'm looking for a relatively new environment mod that I saw featured on the front page. It's supposed to ad grass and trees and such like other mods such as Greenworld, but it looked like it did a much better job at making the wasteland feel realistic after 200 years. I've got no idea what it was called or where any pics are, but any help would really be appreciated.

You could also try to mix greenerworld, but ihavent tested it so i cant say if its imcompatible.

I'm looking for any mod that will increase my frame rate. While it's not too bad indoors, it's a nightmare fighting outside in VATS, as it's extremely slow both in and out of it. My computer handled everything no problem before mods, but since adding them, it's slowed down a bit (nothing wrong with the mods themselves). I know Oblivion had an LOD generator mod which sped things up massively, so if there's any mod like it or otherwise, I'd like to know.

There are lots of things you can do to fix fps rates.

I downloaded a mod months ago that added a bunch of little flavor notes around the Wasteland. It wasn't "A Note Easily Missed" because it didn't add any new areas or plots, just flavor notes.

 

The only note I recall really well was some remains of math homework in a classroom in the Springvale School.

Breeze's FO3 Males FOMOD has 3 nifty little armours in it. One is a trench coat, sounds like you may be looking for? :biggrin:
