Keep up the good work Dark0ne. Though most of us don't show it, we are very appreciative of the work you guys put in. This is possibly the best mod site, most especially for Bethesda games. It it takes a few days of downtime to keep this site the well oiled machine that it is then that is something that HAS to happen.

I'm sure that Dark0ne is going to compensate you with a sandwich or two - you know, the special one ;-)

C'mon, if your internet provider has problems for a few days you surely don't call them and demand a compensation, don't you? Or do you blame your town administration because of the traffic jams due to necessary construction works?

I agree....

Actually... those dolts that do believe they are 'entitled' are the problem... compensate me for this... compensate me for that... I breath oxygen so I should get government subsidized housing, free phones, free health care... I shouldn't have to work... They owe me for living....

Meanwhile, the majority has to pay for it...

The site will be fixed when the site is fixed... plain and simple... I would rather Dark0ne and everybody keep working the site than respond or answer anyone.... Leave them alone so they can work... When it's all done.. I'm sure they'll ket everyone know...

Yes ...
Imagine this scenario:
You go to a restaurant, sit at a table, a waiter comes and takes your order.
You wait and wait and wait and wait ... after 1 hour the waiter comes with your order and puts it on your table, but ... it isn't what you asked for ...
You call the waiter and tell him/her that isn't what you ordered.
The waiter puts on a poker face and tells you that it is what is available at the moment, if you don't like it, then pay up and leave.

This is what happens with many companies around the world - I've suffered this kind of thing couple years ago in a restaurant in a closeby city ... surprisingly that restaurant is still open - mainly due to monopoly situations and corrupt governments.

That isn't the case here.
Dark0ne and his team are working hard to implement and fix this new system, some downtime is to be expected.
They aren't doing it for themselves, they are doing it for the community.
Reco22, what kind of compensation do you mean? Your money back? I'm afraid that's not going to happen.
Because when this thing is all fixed and running, you will have your compensation: a faster more reliable database for all mod community.

Reco22, imagine this scenario:
You have a car, you want it tuned up, you send it to a garage for tuning.
They tell you it would take a week to do so.
A week goes by, the car is still not ready, you call them, they apologise and ask for a few more days because they need some specific parts not available at the moment.
You complain some more and they tell you that if you want your car back now, they can make do with some spare parts they have around, but they won't garantee its reliability or safety, or you can wait and get your car all finely tuned with brand new parts and gadgets like you asked them to.

So, what would you like?
Your car delivered on schedule, with a hasty assembly and makeshift parts?
Or delivered later, with a fully checked assembly and brand new parts?

Also, Quinten Wolfe ... I think you were a bit extreme on your comment, although I agree with you.

Dark0ne and team, please take your time and do what you have to do, it looks awesome so far, and I'm looking forward to see this finished.

Sorry for the wall of text and my english, not my main language ...

A couple of days doesnt really matter much if its a lifetime membership, you've still got the rest of your natural life. Even someone like me who only has a one month membership might miss out on a few days of having full speed downloads, but its not like the price to renew for another month (or more) is so high that I'd be demanding compensation.

the premium membership does not, at any point, promise service availability, uptime, or compensation. It does offer benefits to using the site which as a lifetime member you obviously think are worth it (I do too, but I'm on a recurring 3 month membership for now).
Don't begrudge non-lifetime premium members a few days 'free' extension dude, it's just seems a bit mean-spirited.

o.O Wow, look at the people asking (read: demanding) for compensations...talk about wanting their few bucks back. I doubt this issue will last a full months, so what? You want your few cents back for the couple of days the NNM wasn't available for proper use, oh wait, it still works..but you have to do it manually. Yeah, the horrors of the world.

I reinstated my Premium Membership right on the day this happened, I'll call it bad timing but things like this happen. You're not loosing hundreds of dollars, so why the hell is anyone even daring to ask for compensation?

Kudos for Dark0ne and his team for dealing with these issues as they occur, and having to read through messages of self-entitled nitwits.
