Freddy787
Im trying to run Fallout 4 in 4096x2160 resolution but the launcher doesnt give me the option to do that. There is no option in game to change resolution. The best I can get it to is 3840x2160 but I have my display set to 4096x2160, if i set it to 3849x2160 it runs in the corner of my screen leaving room for me to see my desktop, I cant run the game full screen from the launcher because then it doesnt give any options to pick a resolution. I tried changing it manually in the Fallout4Prefs.ini but it didnt do anything. Not sure what to do, please let me know if you can help.
HeyYou
Changing it in the ini should have done it.... What mod manager are you using? MO2 has the inis somewhere other than the my games folder.....
StormWolf01
I'd recommend checking in your mod manager's folders. There's probly an override in there, that the manager is using for your game settings.
xrayy
check the fallout4prefs.ini and change or add: [Display]iSize W=4096iSize H=2160 i do not recommend to use the launcher for settings at all but to enter changes always manually.
LarannKiar
Note that the UI was designed for 16:9, so in addition to the resolution setting, you may need to edit the UI too.

I think it offers other options as well.

I think it offers other options as well. I have only tried TruBy9 Ultrawide. It was working well with 2560x1080 but not with 3840x1600 unfortunately. I'm not sure if it supports 4096x2160.
