TabuKuroshi
The best sound Track from any game I have played is the one from Metin 2, of course this is only my opinion, but listen to some of the music from it. The best battle song ever!!!
Vindekarr
Though I was 10 at the time, I still firmly think that the unnamed PS2 transformers game from 2002 had one of the most lively, well composed and generaly best music scores I can remember in all my gaming history. Also good were WarHammer: Dawn Of War 1, 2, and all sequals. WH40k always had good music. Each race and army has its own full soundtrack exclusive to itself except in cutscenes and some boss fights. They are all good, ranging from the simple, heavy orchestral for the Orkz, the dark, martial orchestral for the space marines, choiral eldar and classic japanese tau. All are good, and it really adds a unique theme and identiity to each race-being an evil galaxy devouring alien tyranid is one thing, but its even better when you've got the music to match. EVE had some fantastic music during PVE combat-ranging from hard rock and heavy metal, to tech pop, entirely electronic pop composed by a computer, orchestral and more, very lively, and good fun. For driving games, I think burnout paradise' "orchestral glitch" was probably the best. If you've ever played paradise, and know what Road Rage events are like, then picture Road Rage in a huge pickup truck, with the "1812 overture" as the score-its one of the funniest combos possible, and absolutely delightful, especialy if you can time your ramraids to match the cannonfire in the music. Likewise "air on a string" is a great acompanyment to stunt runs, and you cant do much better than tense orchestral for supercar racing.
