Dark0ne
Become one of the first new jedi apprentices to go to the jedi academy after the fall of the empire. On your way to the academy on Yavin a sinister plot unravels from a new sith cult absorbing dark-side power all of the galaxy.
CLB1110
I own this game for xbox and I dont have live, so I sadly cant play it online. I thought this game was great. It really made me feel like a jedi. This game is the best Star Wars game second only to the KOTOR series.
Slaiv
The exact same game as Star wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Go play that instead. It's better.
CLB1110
It is not exaclty the same. There are a few more force powers and moves, and the storyline is different. Not to mention you can make your own character, but the character creation is somewhat lacking....
Peregrine
Not really. Adding the dual and double-bladed lightsabers alone makes it clearly better, the two combat styles are just that much fun. And having the ability to use both dark and light force powers is a nice change. Add in a full single player game (one that I think has better missions than the original) and it's worth buying. It might not be the most unique sequel ever, but it's a fun one.
CLB1110
Not to mention you can fall to the darkside near the end of the single player quest, which makes the game alot funner. Another thing is that you dont have to play as kyle in the single player. ( argh I hate kyle)
Dark0ne
I really enjoyed playing Jedi Academy and am now playing through it again. It's just got a "plug-and-play" feeling that you don't get when playing KOTOR, for example. When I sit down to play KOTOR I'm in it for the long haul, when I sit down to play Jedi Academy I go in to slice up some stormtroopers and throw dark force users off the edge of high bridges. It's just plain fun (despite the graphical glitches with my Radeon 9800 Pro).
CLB1110
Ill agree with you there. When i play KOTOR I feel like i have to make a new character and have to beat the game or its a waste of time. With jedi academy I can just play it for a little bit and not have to feel like im in it for the long haul.
McLegengary
I agree. I'm going through the series in order and this one is my favorite so far. It's as good as KotOR 1. I haven't played KotOR II with the restoration yet. I'm waiting til I've got more time on my hands before I attempt to melt off my face like that. Totally80s
I know nobody has posted in this thread for quite some time but what the heck..... What if any are the best mods for this game? I haven't played it since its original run and plan on playing it again soon, but I wanted to play it with a good mod, or a few.
