Stanhead
I just downloaded MS Antispyware Beta1 because Spybot was, well, crap. I've ran 4 scans so far, one after the other, and I can never seem to get rid of this Altnet Browser Plug-in. Is Antispyware deleting this file like I've told it to do 4 times, or is it, erm, not? ???
Dark0ne
Spybot isn't crap. The spyware is more than likely reinstalling itself. Quite obviously this MSantispyware is crap.
Stanhead
You're right, Spybot isnt crap. But I have some files missing and it doesn't function properly. :P Msantispyware detects a lot more spyware than spybot anyway.
Adras
Webroot Anti-Spyware (I think thats the name), Panda Software, AVG, Hi-Jack This, and Ad-Aware are all the ones I use and with all of them, it keep my computer pretty clean. If you PM me or message/email me, I can give you links. Infact, yesterday I had a slight problem beginning with my task manager not showing up. I remembered someone asking about that just about 2 days ago, and as soon as I got to the page, my Opera shut off. Then I go to ask my computer smart friend on ICQ, and tthe ICQ window closes. It was still running. Then I try Opera again and it shut off. Any window I tried to open for anything at all shut off. A reboot didnt even help. It wouldnt let me run Microsoft Anti-Spyware. Unplugging my internet, and running almost all of those cleared it up in about 15 minutes.
