Slaiv
I know, I know, they showed off a demonstration of the Unreal Engine 3 at E3 a while back, and it was amazing. These are the first screenshots from a game project [not a demonstration.] Check it out:http://pcmedia.gamespy.com/pc/image/article/599/599803/unreal-engine-3-project-untitled-20050329020838442.jpghttp://pcmedia.gamespy.com/pc/image/article/599/599803/unreal-engine-3-project-untitled-20050329020842973.jpg
Stanhead
Yeah, I saw these screenshots on another forum. They're the best graphics I've seen in the Unreal engine, it looks like they made a complete overhaul of the graphics. It doesn't look like Anti-aliasing was on when they took that second screenshot. Morbid_Pathologist
hah, no chance. as if anyone can run a game with models that detailed, even today most of the population struggle to run doom3 smooth (settings maxed). ...and that gun just looks horrible, what were they smoking when they modeled that thing! Abramul
Yeah, the best flak cannon's the one in UT: GOTY. Shiny graphics=/=better game...but they do make it cooler looking!
Slaiv
At any rate, the Unreal 3 Engine graphics are by far the best I've ever seen [excluding cinematics.] And the character is not necessarilly for a new Unreal/UT - it's an unnanounced project, but I will give you that it looks like a flak cannon. Dark0ne
And that guy is no doubt Malcolm, past winner of Unreal Tournament.
