I honestly doubt Robin is going to care much what they say on other sites. Trying to fight against the kind of stupid controversy that gets thrown at Nexus Mods occasionally is a fool's game.

According to a twitter post, the Nexus nuked a thread requesting such a mod. But it is twitter so, I don't know if the screenshots provided are reliable or not. But the twitter post implied that there is some kind of unwritten policy in place. But I cannot confirm nor deny if this is true.

The "unwritten policy" is clearly written. Nexus Mods has the right to decline to host any mod, of any type, for reasons of their own.

 

If they decline to host your mod, that is the end. You don't get to try making sockpuppet accounts to repost it, or change the name to try to hide it.

 

That's a permanent policy that has always existed.

 

They only make announcements about specific types of mods if dealing with them individually becomes too annoying.

I just ignored it when I was starting the game. However if I did mod the game it will be a mod I look for maybe. I would take issue if Nexus did ban these mods. I get annoyed at the world today it's like people think religious people don't play games or people who know biology. People always rag on what they call white religious groups. I don't tell people what doctrine I follow but I rather not have things forced down my throat all the time. I don't force my views on anyone and now I can't even play video games without this crap in my face. I have seen the world for what it is, I just want to live a nice boring life these days not have someone's ideology forced on me. I don't care for certain mods so I don't download them. Not everyone agrees with things on the site and nobody makes a stink about it that I know of. I do agree steam is a S*** show most the time. Idk what happened to the days where you could not agree with someone's life choices. Now your just called a bigot and nobody uses that or phobia in the right context anymore. Phobia is a fear of something, so unless you are fearful you don't have a phobia. Being bigoted or accused of it, I often find it's the person throwing it around who is bigoted. Only thing I am fearful of is not being able to move and that's happened to me twice it's a horrible exp. I lived in areas where some people would not even drive down the road yet it's people who lived sheltered lives telling people they don't know what they think they are fearful of.
