Updated VORTEX, SKSE broke WTF?

I up[dated VORTEX today as prompted and now Skse says "Skyrim is out of date"

I did NOT update Skyrim, I updated vortex, why do I have to wait for skse to catch up?  

None of the previous peoples questions were actually answered when I googled the issue.

Did you update SKSE?

There was an update for SKSE and an update for Skyrim SE today.  You should check what version you have of each.

Thank you, you were correct.  Updated steam settings to auto update skyrim and confirmed the new update downloaded.

Downloaded the recommended SKSE update "if you are using the latest version on steam use the AE build 1.6.1130"  and followed the instructions.

 

Still says "you are using a newer version of Skyrim than SKSE supports"         Have i just done it wrong?  Am I better to try again with the .dll and PEX files, or can I uninstall and re0install SKSE?

That would be the Address Library mod.  You'll need an updated version of that as well.

Looks like one is available.

Updated address library from 8 to 9

game actually started to load, then I got this.

I poked around and could not locate said .dll files, some of the listed files do not show up in the plugins list on vortex

Not all your mods.  Only the SKSE dependent mods shown in the SKSE Plugin Loader list.

Well slow progress is still progress lol.

4 of them have worked.  Updated all on the list first, the 4 started to work after I re-installed the mods thru Vortex. Only those 4 though.

repeated the process for the remaining ones on the shorter list - no change.

Do I just need to give the modders a few days to get updated?

If I fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game and my mod packs, would that sidestep this, or set me back to step 1?
