lilmetal
3 hours ago, AaronOfMpls said: @lilmetal Is your view sorting by the wrong column heading? Click on Priority in both panes once or twice, make sure it's sorting with 0 at the top. Sorting by another column won't change how your mods get presented to the game, but it will change how they're presented to your eyeballs. (Most programs with column headings like this, you can click the column heading to sort your view by it.) No, the order actually gets changed by the game. I can even run LOOT after launching, and it will fix it again. However, it seems fine either way. Like I said, it's only 1130 and 1170 that have done this, so I think it's just something that happens in these versions, though I've never seen it reported anywhere. 7531Leonidas
This means that if your Skyrim SE version is either 1.1130 or 1.1170, you may have an older, unmodified version of Engine Fixes (now at v. 6.2 - it is not supposed to have this problem), or just need to change the value in the EngineFixes.toml (found in your ...\steamaapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins) to false. This is the line you need to change, if you can't/won't update: EnableAchievementsWithMods = true # Enables achievements with mods active There is a separate mod that will do the same thing to replace this setting, I think that it is OK with both 1.1130 and 1.1170 (or corresponding GOG versions). PsychoDraugrResurrected
I am having a similar issue. I created my dream collection and everything works perfectly, that is until you load a save... When you load a previous save the mods no longer work, not Bat Travel, Hunter's Vision, or anything else mod-related. Been stressing about this for a week, hope this is the fix I've been looking for. Try out my collection and see what you think... https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/1fhnxi/revisions/169?utm_medium=vortex&utm_source=vortex&utm_campaign=view_collection
PsychoDraugrResurrected
Nope, still does the thing... Wish someone would make a mod that forces the ingame modlist to deploy all plugins after a load, pretty sure that would fix my issue...
Estefanjaramillo12
Hey ya'll. I'm a bit late to the party but I've been modding my Skyrim for a fresh playthrough. I've gone through all the hoops, making sure my mods are compatible with each other, ensuring the load order is good to go, and finally ready to launch. However, I encountered the issue that @Pickysaurus solved with his original post. After applying the fixes (changing the EnableAchievementsWithMods = false, SaveAddedSoundCategories = false & SaveScreenshots = false). I tried relaunching my game using MO2 and it seemed to work for a couple of seconds, but wouldn't launch ultimately. I don't get an error message or any kind of indication as to what went wrong. When I go back and revert the changes to the TOML file, the game launches completely vanilla. Unsure what I'm doing wrong here. Is anyone else encountering an issue like this? Any help would be great. Thanks.
AaronOfMpls
@Estefanjaramillo12 If I remember right, the toml modifications aren't needed anymore since Engine Fixes was updated. Are you using the current version of Engine Fixes, and are your SKSE plugins up-to-date?
kilaya42
@Estefanjaramillo12 I'm having this exact issue right now. All playing around with Engine Fixes has done is change when the crash happens- my logs, when I can get the game to load at all (it always crashes not long into it- 30 seconds at most), show issues with SKEE.dll. I've been trying to figure out if that is somehow causing this (skee.dll is part of RaceMenu), but it's a bit beyond my skill level. If you figure this out, let me know. JaxonHellsing
I am some reason having this issue again, but I just disabled everything that I was told to disable in engine fixes and the game kicks me and changes my load order some reason
4ss4ss4ssin
tbh im at a lose when it comes to this problem, i have tried the downgraded version and now a newer version so its 1.5.97 and then now its 1.6.1170, the only things i have on is realm of lorkhan, engine fixes, address library, and obviously skse, but i cant seem to keep the first one or most other plugins enabled even after making those changes to the engine fixes file, and ive made sure to have skse installed correctly and with the right versions, im just about ready to just leave this game on the shelf from now on at this point
