The_Reaper
Is it me or fargoth´s treestump was a sign? I was traveling from pelagiad to scyda neen when i accidentally landed on top of a treestump and realized much to my surprise that it had a stupid dagger and 50 gold! :o So i checked other treestumps and guess what! Their full of stuff too! :o I do believe fargoth´s treestump was a sign from bethesda for us to look into treestumps Ps: I wrote treestump 6 times in this post! :P
Shakkara
I never looked in them. But there is probably only worthless stuff in them anyway.

Switch
yep... it actually says in some strategy guides 2 check in the stumps around seyda neen, tried it recently u cudnt activate them with space or anything but there are items in the hollow in the middle... from the ones near the lighthouse i got 25 gold, a silverware cup and an iron shardaxe. the people of seyda neen must use the stumps like trashcans or something :P but why u'd throw out a perfectly good enchanted axe i dont know ^_^
Shakkara
Well for the beginning character it's always nice to get some extra stuff. That dagger alone doesn't do much hehehhe....

In this age of political correctnees it should of course be called a 'house person' I wonder....perhaps Bosmer have this affinity with trees and that's why they hide stuff there? 'Hey, look, a hollow tree - who'd EVER think to look in there!'

'Hey, look, a hollow tree - who'd EVER think to look in there!' well of course they do, i mean they're wood elves, it just doesn't make any sense that they would keep their stash so low to the ground. then again they might just be stupid, i feel safer having my stuff stored in dagoth ur than in a freakin tree stump. seeing as nobody would voluntarily go there.
