Jobe00
I have reset my modem and router and done a completely fresh reinstall of Vortex with the latest download version of 1.10.8, but when I try to log into Vortex and authorize via Nexus, it hangs up and will not complete the login. I also cannot log in with token. Everything was working a couple weeks ago, but I have no idea what changed, and now I have to download every mod I ever had for all my games if I can ever get Vortex to log in. Pickysaurus
Does the browser open? Are you able to click the button in your browser to authorise the login?
DJ4ddi
Same issue here. Symptoms and reproduction on my end is identical to this thread, but the solution doesn't work for me. The problem only appeared with the latest version - before the update (about a week ago), everything worked fine. The browser opens and the authorize button works, but Vortex doesn't login when the popup opens. Tried copying and pasting the token manually, but the save button in Vortex seems to do nothing. Also went through the usual steps (disable AV, disable popup blocker, disable adblocker, etc.) without success. Jobe00
Oh great. If it's a problem of the current version, then we'll have to wait until a new version, and I'll have to redo all my mods on all my games. *sigh*

Firefox opens, and I have the Deny and Authorize buttons. If I hit Deny, it stops. If I hit Authorize, the browser takes me to the Nexus home page while Vortex has the login hang up. It just does nothing and sometimes locks up Nexus to where I have to use Alt+F4 to end it.
Scarsdale60
Same here, I just got Lethal Company and I wanted to look at the mods, and I can't install the extension for it.

The log you pasted does seem to show that Vortex is being denied access to the internet to check for updates - so it's likely something on your PC is preventing Vortex from operating properly. Jobe00
I'm starting to think Kaspersky is the problem. I'll be hitting up their forums because this is now affecting Vortex and the Battle.net and Wargaming Game Center (World of Warships) apps, and I know Battle.net worked a week and a half ago as I play and sometimes stream Diablo III or IV on Saturday and Sunday nights.
