Question(s)

Recommended Posts

HI

I know many a Modder here has an issue with Bethesda.net, the question I am going to ask involves the site and it is something that has happened since the Next Gen Update.

As I have mentioned I get my Mods from the Bethesda site, before the Next Gen Update if I added a Mod to my Library (On the Site) they would show up on my Mod list in the game.

Now, I have them Added to my Library on the Bethesda site, yet some Mods do not show up in my Library in the Game Mod list, only way I can see them is to add them to my Favs.

I know for some mods it is down to the Update, but the question is.

Why are some Mods showing up in my Game Library in the game itself and others are not?

Thanks

Well, I might have to because some of the Mods that are not affected by the Next Gen Update are not showing up in my Library in the game, yet they are in my Library on the Bethesda Site, this is strange, I can understand the Mods affected by the Next Gen Update, but the ones that are not!!!

I figured I would ask the FO4 Gaming Community BEFORE going to Bethesda as this community has helped in the past.

Well, proving that Bethesda Support is non-existent, sent a help request and gave the required details and I have heard nothing since, not surprised, they screwed most current mods up with the Next Gen Update which was not needed, and they cannot be bothered to check their Customer Service Help Section *Grumbles* I get more help on Nexus Forums.

Fallout 4 is getting another patch Monday.  Maybe there will be a fix for this included?

@showler

Monday gone? or the one coming? as I have gotten no patch via Steam this week and I am on PC

Sounds like a repeat of what happened with Skyrim SE back in December and January.  Some mods will be broken until they and/or the script extender are updated.

I don't have FO4 (assuming that's what this is; your posts don't say), but I caught the tail end of this with Skyrim SE as I was setting it up for the first time in January.  Not much to do about it but be patient and wait for updates to settle down.

And searching a bit, I see FO4 has an Address Library (much like SSE's), so F4SE mods that use it don't have to be updated with every change.

(And by the way, specific games' forums here are under Game Communites, either in the bar near the top of the forum pages (on desktop) or in the big at top right (on mobile).  Go there and click Join Community on those you want to post in.)
