mizutoriO
Hello, Vortex 1.11.6 (5/22/2024) Game : Fallout 3 Mods number : 81 or less On Windows 11 PRO x64 23H2 RAM 32 Go I can't launch from Nexus or GOG but I can on the Game Pass, but not start a new game with or without mods apparently. I have downloaded "Fallout 3 - essentials" (Revision 6 from Lazyradly) and "FO3 Remasterd (no ENB) " (revision 4 from Doodle333) But I can't launch the game through Nexus software but only on the Game Pass (and not in GOG) I can't start a new game without crashing after few seconds with the game screen freeze. I have a premium account so I've just let it automatically installing the collections but it is recommended to launch the patcher in the same folder than Fallout3.exe but it don't find it like the Nexus software doesn't, even so is on the same folder. I have uninstalled all mods on the mods section, but I'm not sure what i've done exactly because I had to confirm it for some mods and choose to delete all the 2 options or not. (archive and something else I don't remember I didn't do it today)
showler
Seems like those Collections use FOSE, which does not work with the Game Pass version as far as I know. Do you have the GOG version as well?

ZoldFrog
27 minutes ago, mizutoriO said: Yes I have it on GOG too Greetings The Collection will not work on the GamePass version as it requires FOSE. It sounds like Vortex is currently pointed to the GamePass installation of the game rather than to the GOG installation, assuming that you do have both installed. If you don't have the GOG version currently installed and do want to proceed with using this Collection, you'll need to install it. After it has been installed, if it is not currently, click on Games from the left tree in Vortex. Hover your mouse over FO3 and click the vertical ellipses at the top right-hand corner. Choose "Manually Set Location" which will open your File Explorer. You'll want to locate the GOG installation, stopping at the root folder, of FO3 and click "Select Folder". Save that path in Vortex. Vortex will now be using the GOG version and you should be good to use the Collection. Good luck & have fun!

ZoldFrog
It is not done for you automatically. You need to follow the instructions as outlined, which are manual steps. Good luck!
